Ethion (C9H22O4P2S4) is an organophosphate insecticide. Ethion is known to affect a nueral enzyme called acetylcholinesterase and prevent it from working. However, the damage to nerves is found to be temporary, and all ethion poision patients make a complete recovery.[1]
