Eta Ceti

Eta Ceti (η Cet, η Ceti) is a star in the equatorial constellation of Cetus, the whale. It has the traditional name Deneb Algenubi or Algenudi. The apparent visual magnitude of this star is +3.4, making it the fourth brightest star in this otherwise relatively faint constellation. The distance to this star can be measured directly using the parallax technique, yielding a value of 123.9 light-years (38.0 parsecs).

This is a giant star with a stellar classification of K1 III, having exhausted the hydrogen at its core and evolved away from the main sequence of stars like the Sun. (The classification is sometimes listed as K1.5 IIICN1Fe0.5, indicating a higher than normal abundance of cyanogen and iron relative to other stars of its class.) It is a red clump star that is generating energy through the nuclear fusion of helium at its core.

Eta Ceti may have slightly more mass than the Sun and its outer envelope has expanded to 15 times the Sun's radius. It is radiating 74 times as much luminosity as the Sun from its outer atmosphere at an effective temperature of 4,356 K. This heat gives the star the orange-hued glow of a K-type star.

Omega Seamaster Omegamatic

The Omega Seamaster 200 Omegamatic is a midsize automatic quartz watch that Omega produced from 1997 until 2000. Omegamatic used Omega caliber 1400 (ETA 205.111 Rhodium plated), 17 jewel autoquartz (not thermocompensated) movement with around 100 hours power reserve. This caliber has the option of manual winding to get the initial power to the capacitor. The mechanism alerts low power reserve by moving the seconds hand in four seconds intervals. The Omega 1400 caliber has a slow date change, which usually takes approximately 1.5 hours to change over.

54 Ceti

54 Ceti is an older Flamsteed designation for a star that is now located within the constellation boundaries of Aries, the Ram. In the present day it is known by star catalogue identifiers like HD 11257 or HR 534. At an apparent visual magnitude of 5.94, it can be seen with the naked eye. The distance to this star, as determined using parallax measurements made during the Hipparcos mission, is approximately 139 light-years (43 parsecs), give or take a 6 light-year margin of error. It is located near the ecliptic and hence is subject to occasional occultations by the Moon and planets.

This is an F-type main sequence star with a stellar classification of F2 Vw, where the 'w' indicates weak absorption lines in the spectrum. It is a candidate member of the Ursa Major Moving Group, which has an estimated age of 500 ± 100 million years.
