Property management

Property management is the operation, control, and oversight of real estate as used in its most broad terms. Management indicates a need to be cared for, monitored and accountability given for its useful life and condition. This is much akin to the role of management in any business.

Property management is also the management of personal property, equipment, tooling and physical capital assets that are acquired and used to build, repair and maintain end item deliverables. Property management involves the processes, systems and manpower required to manage the life cycle of all acquired property as defined above including acquisition, control, accountability, responsibility, maintenance, utilization and disposition.

Roles

Duties of property management generally will include a minimum of these basic primary tasks:

Commissioner

A commissioner is, in principle, the title given to a member of a commission or to an individual who has been given a commission (official charge or authority to do something, the noun's second meaning).

In practice, the title of commissioner has evolved to include a variety of senior officials, often sitting on a specific commission. In particular, commissioner frequently refers to senior police or government officials. A High Commissioner is equivalent to an ambassador, originally between the United Kingdom and the Dominions and now between all Commonwealth states, whether Commonwealth realms, republics, or countries having a monarch other than that of the realms. The title is sometimes given to senior officials in the private sector; for instance, many North American sports leagues.

There is some confusion between commissioners and commissaries, because other European languages use the same word for both. Therefore titles such as commissaire in French, Kommissar in German and comisario in Spanish can mean either commissioner or commissary in English, depending on the context.

Commissioner was an American side project of Suicide Silence's Mitch Lucker and Disfiguring The Goddess's Cameron "Big Chocolate" Argon.

History

Formation and What Is? (2010–2011)

Until 2010, Argon had been mainly focused on metal music as vocalist for Burning The Masses. Soon after touring with Suffocation, he was approached by Century Media Records to remix "Disengage" by Suicide Silence, which is where his career took a heavier turn into electronic music. After mixing his first track for Suicide Silence, Argon struck up a friendship with the band. He and Mitch Lucker, Suicide Silence's vocalist at the time, formed Commissioner, an extreme industrial metal duo. Commissioner had released two tracks before releasing their EP, one featuring Whitechapel frontman Phil Bozeman, entitled "Click Click Flash" and the other being "Consume" which marked the debut release by the group. The duo released their first EP titled What Is? on March 21, 2011.

Commissioner is now permanently inactive due to Mitch Lucker's death on 1 November 2012.

Commissioners of Nunavut

This is a list of the Commissioners of Nunavut, Canada, since its creation in 1999. As of 12 May 2010, the commissioner is Edna Elias. The Commissioner is appointed by the Government of Canada, but a Commissioner, in contrast to the Governor-General of Canada or the Lieutenants-Governor of the Canadian Provinces, is not a Viceroy and therefore Commissioners are not direct representatives of the monarch in the territory.

History

The position of Commissioner was created in 1999 with the creation of the new territory. Like other territorial Commissioners, he or she is appointed by the Government of Canada and represents the Canadian cabinet in the territory.

Deputy Commissioner

The role of Deputy Commissioner was added in 2005 by amending the Public Officer Act and Seals Act to be inline with the Yukon and Northwest Territories.

Estate (song)

Estate is an Italian song written in 1960 by Bruno Martino (music) and Bruno Brighetti (lyrics). A minor hit in Italy when released, it eventually became a worldwide jazz standard largely through its interpretation by João Gilberto.

The title refers to summer, and the lyrics describe a love lost during summer and the bitter memories that come with the season ever since. The song was originally titled (and the lyric sung) "Odio l'estate" ("I Hate the Summer").

Three sets of English-language lyrics have been written, one titled "Maybe This Summer" recorded by Peggy Lee (1965), one titled "Estate" (Summer) by Joel E. Siegel for Shirley Horn (1987), and the other titled "In Summer" by Jon Hendricks (1990).

The album was recorded in the Forum Recording Studio, Rome during the spring of 1982. The title is the Italian word for "summer", pronounced [eˈstaːtɛ].
