Eric Striker

Eric Striker (born c. 1994) is an American football linebacker for the Oklahoma Sooners.

Early Years

Striker grew up in Seffner, Florida and attended Armwood High School, where he played football, baseball and ran track. In football, he set the school-record for career sacks with 42. As a junior in 2010, he made 125 tackles and 16 sacks. In his senior year, he racked up 109 tackles, 11 sacks and 18 tackles for loss, and earned Sports Illustrated first team All-American honors. He was rated as a four-star recruit by Rivals and 247sports, and a three-star by ESPN and Scout.

College career

Freshman season

In his final season at Armwood, Striker accepted a scholarship from Bob Stoops to play for the Oklahoma Sooners. As a freshman in 2012, he played in all 13 games, but only recorded stats in the game against the Kansas Jayhawks, making six tackles.

Sophomore season

As a sophomore, Striker earned a starting position and started every game. In a loss to rival Texas, he made a career-high seven tackles with a pass breakup and a tackle for loss. Against Kansas one week later, Striker got his first career sack, along with six tackles. At Oklahoma State in the annual Bedlam Series, he returned a fumble three yards for a touchdown on the final play of the game. In the final game of the year, Striker helped Oklahoma upset Alabama in the 2014 Sugar Bowl, recording a career-high three sacks and tying a career-high seven tackles. In the final minute of the game, he also got the first forced fumble of his career when he stripped Bama's quarterback, A.J. McCarron, followed by defensive end Geneo Grissom picking it up and running it in for a touchdown to seal the Sooners' victory.

Sabre I

The first Sabre was a former knife thrower named Paul Richarde until he was selected by Modred to oppose Black Knight. Paul Richarde was given an armor, an animated gargoyle. and Mordred's Ebony Dagger (the weapon with which Mordred had killed the first Black Knight). He was defeated by Black Knight after his horse Aragorn kicked the dagger from Le Sabre's hand.

Sabre II

The second Sabre is a mutant super villain. His first appearance was in X-Men #106. Young and reckless, Sabre was chosen by Mystique to join her new Brotherhood of Mutants, though never actually participated in any missions. He had the mutant ability of super speed, and took the name of the deceased Super Sabre. It is unknown if he continues to serve Mystique behind the scenes, or if he even retains his powers after Decimation. Hyper-accelerated metabolism augments his natural speed, reflexes, coordination, endurance, and the healing properties of his body.

Striker (miniatures game)

The miniatures game Striker is a science fiction tactical wargame that was published by Game Designers' Workshop in 1981 as a boxed expansion to the Traveller role-playing game. It was notable for attempting to cover a broad range of technological levels and having an intricate "engineering" style of vehicle design by the player using formulas and tables. The combat rules were an elaboration on the rules introduced in the Azhanti High Lightning game, using a 2D6 mechanic very different from the original "Traveller" rules. A later game, Striker II, was based on the systems in GDW's Command Decision WWII rules and tied to the role-playing game Traveller: The New Era.

Culdee Fell Railway

The Culdee Fell Railway (CFR) is a fictional narrow gauge rack and pinion railway appearing in the book Mountain Engines written by the Rev. W. Awdry. The stories are based on incidents in the history of the Snowdon Mountain Railway.

Awdry visited the Snowdon Mountain Railway (SMR) with his friend, the Rev. Teddy Boston, in early 1963. That summer he wrote a 2-part article about it in his series "Remarkable Railways", for the Church of England Newspaper. The Director of the SMR at the time, A.O.E. Davis, suggested that Awdry might like to include a similar railway on Sodor. Fortunately, a suitable mountain was already marked on the first published maps of Sodor, the 2046 ft-high Culdee Fell.

In the book, the Culdee Fell Railway runs from Kirk Machan, where it meets the standard gauge line from Killdane to Peel Godred, to the summit of Culdee Fell. Devil's Back is a high exposed ridge which the railway runs along, corresponding to Clogwyn of the real Snowdon Mountain Railway.

List of The Vampire Chronicles characters

The following is a list of characters from Anne Rice's The Vampire Chronicles, which began with the 1976 novel Interview with the Vampire. The series primarily follows the antihero Lestat de Lioncourt, a French nobleman turned into a vampire in the 18th century, and by extension the many humans and vampires whose lives he has touched in his own long existence. Rice also explores the origins of vampires far more ancient than the so-called "brat prince" Lestat.

Rice said in a 2008 interview that her vampires were a "metaphor for lost souls". The homoerotic overtones of The Vampire Chronicles are also well-documented. As of November 2008, The Vampire Chronicles had sold 80 million copies worldwide.

Eric Python IDE

Eric is a free integrated development environment for the Python and Ruby programming languages. For some time Eric4 was the variant for Python 2 and eric5 was the one for Python 3 but since the introduction of eric6 both python variants have been supported by a single variant.

By design, it acts as a front end for several programs, for example the QScintilla editor widget, the python language interpreter, Rope for code refactoring, Python Profiler for code profiling. Any functionality that is not required does not have to be installed. It is written using the PyQt Python bindings for the Qt GUI toolkit. It is extensible via a plug-in mechanism. The eric plug-in repository provides various kinds of extensions and is accessible from within the IDE.

The main features are a project manager, an editor with syntax highlighting, debugging, profiling, running python code with support for command-line parameters, unit testing, user interface design, a console for program output and a task manager (self-updating TODO list).
