Eric Griffin

Eric Michael Griffin is an American rock guitarist. He is most famous for playing bass in the horror punk band Murderdolls (2002–2004) and guitar in Wednesday 13 (2006–2007). He is now living in Los Angeles.

Griffin started playing guitar at the age of 12 and states his childhood influences as KISS and Mötley Crüe. He has now toured the world and made a name for himself in the music industry. From 1998 until 2002 – Griffin played guitar in an alternative rock band called Synical with friend Ben Graves.

In the early 2000s Tripp Eisen showed a video of himself jamming with Griffin and Graves, to members of a project which he was involved with; the Murderdolls. Although not his preferred position (lead guitar), Eric agreed to join the Murderdolls as the bassist. Murderdolls had already recorded their debut album by the time Eric had joined, although he does feature in the album artwork for "Beyond the Valley of the Murderdolls".

Eric Griffin (boxer)

Eric Griffin (born 1967-11-03 in Lafayette, Louisiana) is a retired boxer from the USA, who competed in the light flyweight (– 48 kg) division during the early 1990s. He won at the 1991 world championships finals, beating Rogelio Marcelo.

Amateur career

As an amateur, Griffin was the co-captain of the 1992 USA Olympic Team.

Eric Griffin (basketball)

Eric Londery Griffin (born May 26, 1990) is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for Al-Nasr Dubai SC in the United Arab Emirates. He played college basketball for Hiwassee College, Garden City CC and Campbell.

High school and college career

Griffin attended Maynard Evans High School in Orlando, Florida before transferring to Boone High School for his senior year after being cut multiple times from the basketball team at Evans. At Boone, he met head coach and former LSU guard Willie Anderson, who recognized Griffin’s freakish athleticism and unrelenting hunger for greatness. Anderson was the first one to give Griffin a chance, and he didn't disappoint.

Following a solid first year of organized basketball, Griffin went on to play for Hiwassee Community College in Tennessee, where he averaged 16 points, six rebounds and two blocks per game in 2008–09. But when the small junior college lost its accreditation in 2009, Griffin was forced to move on. He transferred to Garden City Community College in Kansas, and in 2009–10, he played 32 games, averaging 8.1 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game.
