Eon (novel)
Eon is a 1985 science fiction novel by Greg Bear. It is the first story written in The Way fictional universe.
Events in Eon take place in 2005, when the U.S. and U.S.S.R. are on the verge of nuclear war. In that tense political climate, a 290 km asteroid is detected, following an anomalous and very powerful energy burst just outside the solar system. The asteroid moves into a highly eccentric Near-Earth orbit, and the two nations each try to claim this mysterious object (dubbed "the Stone" by the Americans and "the Potato" by the Soviets, with the Chinese using 鲸, meaning whale), with the U.S. and N.A.T.O. allied nations succeeding. Eon was nominated for an Arthur C. Clarke Award in 1987.
Story
The Stone
The asteroid itself is an elongated prolate spheroid which appears to be virtually identical to Juno, a large asteroid in the main belt. It has been hollowed out along its long axis, and subdivided into seven vast cylindrical chambers, and rotates to provide artificial gravity. The chambers are terraformed, with the second and third containing vast abandoned cities which have been maintained by automatic systems for centuries. As the Earth investigators explore the asteroid's interior, they make an even more stunning discovery — the end of the Stone's seventh chamber opens out into a vast cylindrical corridor ("The Way"), a "pocket universe" that extends far beyond the physical limit of the asteroid, and may possibly be infinite. These discoveries indicate both that the Stone's creators (who are dubbed the "Stoners") have mastered the technology to open portals into other dimensions and alternate universes, and that, for unknown reasons, these original inhabitants had been evacuated from the Stone at some time in its past, and could well be living somewhere further along the Way.
Moon of Israel (novel)
Moon of Israel is a novel by Rider Haggard, first published in 1918 by John Murray. The novel narrates the events of the Biblical Exodus from Egypt told from the perspective of a scribe named Ana.
Haggard dedicated his novel to Sir Gaston Maspero, a distinguished Egyptologist and director of Cairo Museum.
Adaptation
His novel was the basis of a script by Ladislaus Vajda, for film-director Michael Curtiz in his 1924 Austrian epic known as Die Sklavenkönigin, or "Queen of the Slaves".

1633 is an alternate history novel co-written by Eric Flint and David Weber, and sequel to 1632 in the 1632 series. 1633 is the second major novel in the series and together with the anthology Ring of Fire, the two sequels begin the series hallmarks of being a shared universe with collaborative writing being very common, as well as one—far more unusual— which mixes many canonical anthologies with its works of novel length. This in part is because Flint wrote 1632 as a stand-alone novel, though with enough "story hooks" for an eventual sequel, and because Flint feels "history is messy", and the books reflect that real life is not a smooth polished linear narrative flow from the pen of some historian, but is instead clumps of semi-related or unrelated happenings that somehow sum together where different people act in their own self-interests.
Premise
The series begins in the Modern era on May 31, 2000, during a small town wedding when the small West Virginia town of Grantville trades places in both time and geographic location with a nearly unpopulated countryside region within the Holy Roman Empire during the convulsions of the Thirty Years' War.

Eon is a fantasy role-playing game set in the fictitious world of Mundana. It's developed and published by Swedish company Helmgast. Eon is the Swedish word for Aeon.
History
The first edition was released November 18, 1996, second edition on November 29, 2000, the third edition on August 27, 2004. The fourth edition will be released sometime in nomvember, 2014. In a comparison in Dagens Nyheter of four Swedish fantasy role-playing games, the first edition of Eon received the highest marks of the four with the comments "Advanced rules - Realistic", "Great joy of play", "Plausible. Down to earth", "Not for beginners. Detailed. Endless campaign seeds. High class without losing the fantasy feeling."
A computer game called EON - The Face of Deception was planned, but not released.

Ian Loveday, better-known as Eon (22 September 1954 – 17 June 2009) was a rave pioneer.
His tracks made their way to early 1990s pirate radio stations in London, and then out on vinyl through small labels like BAAD and Vinyl Solution. He released Void Dweller, with its dark and hard driving beats, on Columbia Records in September 1992; it used samples from David Lynch's Dune, the Outer Limits, and themes from the horror movie Basket Case.
His sound was a link between the early Detroit techno and contemporary dance music. In the early 1990s this release was shared between disc jockeys and musicians and was very influential. Eon was known for the acid techno song called "Spice" which was released in November 1990. Later in his career he worked with Baby Ford and Bizarre Inc., and released singles on Trelik Records and Electron Industries.
Death
Ian Loveday died on 17 June 2009 in London, of complications from pneumonia.

Wish Upon a Blackstar
Wish Upon a Blackstar is the second vocal album (third overall) from American electronic rock project, Celldweller. While the album had been a work in progress since 2004, finalized songs from the album were not released until mid-2009. The full album was released on June 12, 2012. Grant Mohrman, producer of the debut Celldweller album, returned to co-produce the album with Klayton.
Production
Klayton began to work on the album in 2004, originally slated for release in the summer of 2006, the album was delayed numerous times. In a late 2008 interview, he stated that:
On March 9, 2009, Klayton announced that the album would be titled Wish Upon a Blackstar and he revealed the tracklisting on April 20, 2009.
In contrast to the debut Celldweller album, where Klayton always tracked the vocals last,Wish Upon a Blackstar was produced vice versa:
