Electrico is a pop rock and indie Singaporean band originally formed as Electric Company in Singapore in 1996. This band is still active with the present line-up which includes David Tan, Desmond Goh, William Lim Jr.

Background

Electric Company: 1996 to 1997

Electric Company was formed when David Tan, Keith Colaco, Desmond Goh and William Lim Jr. got together to entertain for a fun fair at their neighbourhood church. The band initially practised in an abandoned steel cargo container. After three years of heavy gigging in the underground Singapore indie scene and developing a quasi cult status, the lack of support for local music and other problems forced Colaco to leave. The band continued briefly as a three piece but disbanded a year later.

Reformation and first years: 2003 to 2005

In 2003, lead guitarist Daniel Sassoon of the now defunct Singapore indie band Livonia joined Tan, Goh and Lim . Soon after, the band's name was shortened from Electric Company to Electric Co., and finally to Electrico. Keyboardist Amanda Ling, the only female in the group, was talent-scouted by the rest of the band members and was the last person to join the band.

Electrico (wrestler)

Eléctrico (born August 21, 1986) is a Mexican Luchador enmascarado or masked professional wrestler who currently works for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) in their Mini-Estrella division. He is the current Mexican National Lightweight Champion. Eléctrico's real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans. Working in the Mini division does not necessarily mean that Eléctrico has dwarfism as several short wrestlers work in the "Mini" division, which is what separates the Mexican Mini-Estrella from traditional Midget professional wrestling as practiced in the United States and other places.
