Electra Glide in Blue is a 1973 film starring Robert Blake as a motorcycle cop in Arizona and Billy "Green" Bush as his partner. It was produced and directed by James William Guercio. The name stems from the Harley-Davidson Electra Glide motorcycle issued to traffic cops.
John Wintergreen (Robert Blake) is a motorcycle cop who patrols the rural Arizona highways with his partner Zipper (Billy "Green" Bush). Wintergreen is an experienced patrolman looking to be transferred to homicide. When he is informed by Crazy Willie (Elisha Cook, Jr.) of an apparent suicide via shotgun, Wintergreen believes the case is actually a murder. Detective Harve Poole (Mitchell Ryan) agrees it is a homicide, after a .22 bullet is found in the man's skull during the autopsy, as well hearing about a possible missing $5,000 from the man's home, and arranges for Wintergreen to be transferred to homicide to help with the case.
Wintergreen gets his wish, but his joy is short-lived. He begins increasingly to identify with the hippies whom the other officers, including Detective Poole, are endlessly harassing. The final straw comes when Poole discovers that Wintergreen has been sleeping with his girlfriend Jolene (Jeannine Riley). The hostile workplace politics cause him to be quickly demoted back to traffic enforcement.
In Blue is the third album by Irish Celtic folk rock band The Corrs, released in 2000 which saw the band become known in the United States. The title of the album comes from a lyric in the song "Give Me a Reason". As well as the UK number one single "Breathless", the album also contains new versions of "Radio" and "At Your Side" which had previously appeared on their previous album The Corrs Unplugged. Mutt Lange co-wrote three songs from the album and Tim Martin was the engineer for the album's tracks for their recordings at Westland Studios and Windmill Lane Studios in Dublin.
Several of the tracks were used in various television programmes and films: "Rebel Heart" as the theme for the TV miniseries of the same name; "One Night" in Mad About Mambo; "At Your Side" in Say It Isn't So and the trailer for the film The Holiday; and "All the Love in the World" in the film America's Sweethearts.
All songs written and composed by The Corrs, with additional writing by Robert John "Mutt" Lange on track 1, 5 & 7.

FL is a model designation used on motorcycles manufactured by Harley-Davidson from 1941 to present. Mostly applied to Harley's large-framed bikes, including the current Touring series, the FL designation is also used with their Softail series, especially on Softails with traditional styling, 16-inch front wheels, and either Springer forks or large-diameter telescopic front forks.
The FL was introduced to the Harley-Davidson model line in 1941. It used a 74 cu in (1,210 cc) version of the "Knucklehead" OHV engine that powered the EL in 61 cu in (1,000 cc) form. The FL shared its frame with the EL and with the U and UL, which used a 74 cubic inch flathead engine. The FL replaced the UH and ULH, which used the same frame with 80 cu in (1,300 cc) flathead engines.
The FL continued relatively unchanged until 1948, when it and the EL were given redesigned "Panhead" engines of the same capacities as before. These engines had several improvements over the earlier "Knuckleheads", including self-adjusting hydraulic lifters and aluminum cylinder heads to reduce weight and improve cooling. The U and UL flathead twins were discontinued in 1948, leaving the OHV EL and FL models as Harley-Davidson's large-frame motorcycles.
Summer's over and my dear so is he
Over me now oh so suddenly
Onward downward cared so much it scared him
I wanted to walk peacefully
But in dramatic fashion out of hurt and passion's sword
At his feet both hands pulled the cord
Chorus:
I guess he likes me in blue
Those tears they make him feel like a man
After I gave all that I am
He loves to see me cry
Thought we would grow old together
But at the first sign of bad weather
He left me holding the shoe
Midnight my prince he just flew
I guess he likes me in blue
Tried to hold on
But it pulled me under
Left to wonder
Is there something wrong with me?
Said 'No baby'
But I don't believe it
'Cause his actions spoke ever so clearly
And oh
Out of foolish pride
As he veered
I stood by his side
Chorus
Bridge:
Say it isn't so
Say I have my pride
My big sin you ask
Is I tried, I tried
Lovers on death row
Destined for the fall
When did that wind blow?
We could've had it all.
Chorus
