Ulmus laevis 'Punctata'
The European White Elm cultivar Ulmus laevis 'Punctata' was first mentioned by Schelle in Beissner et al. Laubholz-Benennung 87, 1903 as U. effusa (: laevis) f. punctata, but without description.
Description
Schneider later described it in Ill. Handb. Laubh. 1: 213, 1904 as having leaves flecked with white.
Cultivation
The tree was never grown in the UK. Probably extinct.
