E!

E! Entertainment Television, LLC (more commonly known as E! and formerly E!: Entertainment Television) is an American basic cable and satellite television channel that is owned by the NBCUniversal Cable division of NBCUniversal. It features entertainment-related programming, reality television, feature films and occasionally series and specials unrelated to the entertainment industry. As of February 2015, E! has an audience reach of approximately 94,296,000 American households (81.0% of households). The channel is also available in Canada, which broadcasts original programming at the same as the United States and localized versions across Europe, Asia and Australia.

History

Movietime

E! was originally launched on July 31, 1987 as Movietime, a service that aired movie trailers, entertainment news, event and awards coverage, and interviews as an early example of a national barker channel. The channel was founded by Larry Namer and Alan Mruvka. Early Movietime hosts included Greg Kinnear, Paula Abdul, Katie Wagner, Julie Moran, Suzanne Kay (daughter of Diahann Carroll), Mark DeCarlo, Sam Rubin and Richard Blade.

E-Channel

e-Channels, also known as The Automated Passenger Clearance System, is a border control system introduced by the Hong Kong Immigration Department in 2004, designed to speed up border immigration processes for residents of Hong Kong, Macau and frequent visitors to Hong Kong entering and exiting the territory whether it be by land, air or sea via the use of self-service kiosks employed at various border control points.

E Channel (Greece)

The E Channel (E or simply Epsilon) is a Greek nationwide television station, based in Maroussi.

It belongs to the Broadcasting SA which was sold from Communist Party of Greece το the Cypriot offshore company A-Orizon Media Limited under contract came on July 31, 2013 and replaced the channel 902. The operation began on September 11, 2013 at 00:10 with gossipy broadcast Entertainment Gossip News and presenter Maria Louisa Vouros.

The first station's newscast sent out the same day at 19:30 pm, with main presenter journalist George Karameros. Since October 2013 the channel has a full program, including Press News, information, entertainment, cultural and sports programs.

George Tragas for a few months showed the emission State of Siege' and subsequently restricted area. Also presented emissions without anesthetic and Sniper. Since September 2014 is the main commentator on the main news program presented by Lina Klitou.
