ESPN Xtra is a satellite radio station that combines the existing audio simulcast of ESPNEWS programs with sports talk programming produced by ESPN. This channel is on Sirius XM Radio channel 84.
Three shows from local ESPN Radio owned-and-operated stations were added to the XM 141 lineup, including The Michael Kay Show and The Max Kellerman Show both from WEPN, and Galloway and Company from KESN (on a 4 hour delay). Bill Simmons's The B.S. Report podcast from ESPN.com is also aired on the new channel. In addition, the channel will air exclusive content to satellite radio throughout the year, and will include live events such as the ESPY Awards and the X Games.
XM announced the addition of this channel on January 28, 2008. Sirius announced changes to its audio simulcast of ESPNEWS, now called ESPN All Access, on December 12, 2007, but would not be adding any content announced for XM as it will be exclusive to XM.
On March 9, 2009, Max Kellerman was released from his WEPN contract after disputes over his show in at the station. The Brandon Tierney Show will be airing in the time slot until a permanent show is in place.

John Skipper currently serves as president of ESPN, a position he has held since January 1, 2012. WHGB (1400 AM, "95.3 Nash Icon") is a radio station broadcasting a country music format. Licensed to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, it serves the greater Harrisburg metropolitan area. It broadcast under the call sign WFEC for many years. The station is currently owned by Cumulus Media.
The station was first assigned the call sign WHGB when it signed on in 1945. It became WFEC (for owner Florida East Coast broadcasting its then owner) in 1963 featuring a Top 40 format. In 1982 owned by Great Scott Broadcasting after a series of failed country, disco and urban formats (beginning in 1977), it returned to Top 40 and adopted the Mike Joseph format called Hot Hits in response to the success of WCAU-FM in Philadelphia with that approach. Although WFEC featured the basics of the Hot Hits format to the letter, it was not consulted by Joseph himself. During the Hot Hits era, the station was known as Fire 14. On February 3, 1983, the station changed its call sign back to WHGB. For much of the 80s it featured Al Ham's "The Music of Your Life" pop standards format along with substantial local sports play by play.

The Xtra was an English three-wheel cyclecar built from 1922 to 1924 by Xtra Cars, Ltd., of Chertsey, Surrey.
A very basic machine, it was designed by Cuthbert Clarke and resembled a three-wheeled sidecar in most respects. The car was powered by a 3.75 hp single-cylinder, two stroke, 270 cc Villiers engine and had a friction drive two-speed transmission, using two cork covered wheels of different sizes, chain driven by the engine. These wheels ran within a drum which was mounted on the single rear wheel and one would make contact to provide drive at the appropriate ratio. They were controlled by a lever which could be pushed or pulled to engage drive and had a central neutral position. There was no reverse gear. Rear suspension was by a coil spring on the engine frame. There was no front axle, the wheels were controlled by two transverse leaf springs. Steering was by rack and pinion. Braking was on the rear wheel only and used shoes operating on the outside of the transmission drum.
Xtra Limited (now branded as part of Spark New Zealand) is New Zealand's largest Internet service provider (ISP). It was founded in 1996 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Spark New Zealand (formerly Telecom New Zealand). Xtra has provided dial-up Internet access throughout New Zealand since its inception in May 1996. In 1999 it created New Zealand's first ADSL service.
The name Xtra was also used with the separate entity Yahoo!Xtra, a joint venture web portal between Telecom (49% stake) and Yahoo!7 (51% stake) from 2007 to 2011. The venture was formed in December 2006 replacing the XtraMSN web portal and included additional features for Xtra broadband customers.
In 2008 Telecom dropped the Xtra brand name from products and services, using Telecom instead (Xtra broadband became Telecom broadband for example).
In 1999 Telecom created New Zealand's only ADSL service. Telecom later allowed other ISPs to access its ADSL networks (under increasing government and public pressure), although some claimed that Telecom provided unfair and monopolistic terms of trade regarding its wholesale ADSL services.
Reuters 3000 Xtra was an electronic trading platform which was released by Reuters in 1999 and supported until the end of 2013. It was typically used by professional traders and financial analysts in trading rooms. It was superseded by the Eikon platform, first released in 2010.
3000 Xtra provided real-time market data such as price data on exchange traded stocks, warrants, options, futures, indices, bonds, commodities and currencies, as well as streaming news and comprehensive economic indicators and financial data. Originally designed as an information system, later versions also introduced trading functions, allowing orders to be placed on a number of electronic exchanges and with other dealing desks.
The client software connected to Reuters hardware at the client's premises, which combined multiple connections to the Reuters networks over redundant, fault-tolerant dedicated links, often private T1s. This was provided on-site via a proprietary and often redundant hardware installation, such as Reuters Market Data System (RMDS) or Triarch. One of the early attractions for dealers was the integration with Microsoft Excel and the instant messaging facility for sending messages to other dealing desks. The flexible Kobra client software allowed for a variety of real-time and historic market data visualizations and custom analytics. In addition, it could provide real-time Reuters headlines and news.
