EFGaming
EFGaming was a professional gaming organization for Counter-Strike: Source, formed by former Check-Six (x6) / PowersGaming members. Considered by many as the top Counter-Strike: Source team in North America, they have won many LAN tournaments, with most recent the "Ryu LAN Event", November 2006. In April 2008 most of EFGaming went to the San Francisco Optx of the Championship Gaming Series. The team was named after the daughter of one of the team's managers.
Letter of Resignation
It has been well documented that the Counter Strike: Source team from EFGaming was drafted to participate in the first season of the Championship Gaming Series, as the season has unfolded it is clear that they not only deserved the chance to play in the league but they are one of the top teams that compete on that level. When the team left EFGaming to pursue this venture there were a lot of questions as to what direction the management of EFGaming would take for the future. John "Brex" Atwell and myself have had several discussions over the past few weeks as to what our direction should be, and we have come to our decisions.
