Dru World Order

Dru World Order is the third studio album by American R&B group Dru Hill, released in late 2002 (see 2002 in music) on Def Jam Recordings' Def Soul imprint. Four years had passed between this release and the group's previous album, Enter the Dru, during which time the quartet imploded, yet later reformed. Beginning with this release, Dru Hill became a quintet, with fifth member Scola (Rufus Waller) added to the original lineup of Sisqó, Jazz, Nokio, and Woody. This was the first and only time that Dru Hill was featured as five members. The album released three singles "I Should Be...", "I Love You" and "No Doubt". Two of the singles had music videos released. This is the group's last album for the entire Def Jam roster and they were released from their contract within a year due to poor album sales for this album and Sisqó's second album, which caused the group to go on a second hiatus.

Background

Following the release of Enter the Dru's final single, "You Are Everything", in Summer 1999, Dru Hill was reduced to a trio when Woody left the act to become a gospel singer. During this period, the group's label, Island Records, was merged with Def Jam, and Dru Hill was reassigned to Def Jam's new R&B imprint, Def Soul. The new label renegotiated the group's contracts and successfully returned Woody to the fold. The intended plan was for each member to record a solo album, and then regroup in a year to record Dru World Order. However, lead singer Sisqó's solo album, Unleash the Dragon, was a notable success, selling, at four million copies, twice as much as Enter the Dru. The other three members' solo projects were pushed back as Sisqó singles such as "Thong Song" and "Incomplete" became Top 5 hits on the Billboard Hot 100. When the group reformed in November 2000, it imploded, and Dru Hill was placed on an indefinite hiatus.

World Order (band)

World Order (stylized as WORLD ORDER) is a Japanese band formed by Genki Sudo following his retirement from mixed martial arts. The band is best known for their song "Machine Civilization". This song was produced in response to the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami.

World Order has produced two albums, World Order and 2012. Many of their videos show the band performing choreographed robotic dance in public places.

World Order was featured in the 26th season premiere of the CBS reality television show The Amazing Race. Teams had the opportunity to participate in a detour where they would attempt to mimic World Order's dance moves. The dance was set to the song "Welcome to TOKYO". Since October 19, 2015, Genki Sudo took a step back from being part of World Order as a dance member but still acts as the group's producer and director. Masato Ochiai and Akihiro Takahashi has been put forward as the front men of the group.

Dru (Andrew Grange) is a Canadian singer and songwriter. The R&B/Soul Juno Award and MuchMusic Video Award (MMVA)winner’s major influences include Marvin Gaye, Donnie Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, D’Angelo and Jay-Z.

Dru released his solo, debut album The One in 2008, and the album was rated 3.5 out of 4 stars by the Toronto Star. He was also named Emerging Artist of the Month" by Canada's #1 CHR/Top 40 station, CHUM FM. Dru's first three singles "The One", "Stay with Me (Always)" and "Seasons" received strong rotation nationally, with videos for all three songs appearing on all major media outlets.

In 2009, Dru topped the radio and video charts in both Canada & the UK as the featured artist on the hit single “Runnin” by renowned DJs Doman & Gooding. The single earned Dru yet another Juno Award nomination in 2010 for “Dance Recording of The Year.” Dru has been identified by Billboard Magazine as "One of the most important emerging Canadian artists" and his success to date reinforces why he deserves such high praise.

JPEG

JPEG (/ˈdʒeɪpɛɡ/ JAY-peg) is a commonly used method of lossy compression for digital images, particularly for those images produced by digital photography. Drut River

Drut (Belarusian: Друць, [drutsʲ]; Russian: Друть, [drutʲ]) is a river in Belarus, a right tributary of Dnieper. It originates in the Orsha Upland in the Belarusian Ridge and flows through Vitebsk, Mogilev and Homiel provinces of Belarus.
