My Body (Hadise song)

My Body is an English R&B song by Belgian-Turkish singer Hadise, it was also co-written by Hadise and Yves Jongen. It is the seventh single from Hadise so far and is also the second single from her second studio album Hadise, released June 6, 2008.

The song has been added to Music On Demand by Virgin Media in the UK.

Music video

Hadise shot the video and teamed up with director Senol Korkmaz, who also shot the video for 'Milk Chocolate Girl'. "Eddie Morales", a choreographer and professional dancer, who's worked with artists such as Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey, Gwen Stefani and Missy Elliott, features in the music video alongside Hadise. Hadise can be seen holding a little crocodile in the video.

Chart performance

"My Body" debuted on the Belgium Ultratop 50 chart, on February 23, at No. 8, the highest debut that week, debuting higher than Kylie Minogue's song In My Arms which debuted at #33. Also Hadise was the Top Belgium artist on the chart that week. "My Body" has already become Hadise's best single by chart position and is her first top 10 single so far. The song became popular in the Balkan countries and started airing on the Bulgarian Balkanika TV's playlist.

Teairra Marí

Teairra Marí (born Teairra María Thomas; December 2, 1987) is an American singer-songwriter, dancer, hip hop model and actress. At the age of 17, Jay Z signed her to Def Jam and she released her first album, Teairra Marí. After disappointing sales, she was let go from her recording contract in the middle of production for her second album Second Round. In 2008, she returned to the music scene with the Pleasure P-assisted single "Hunt 4 U". After constant leaks, she was forced to re-record and re-title a second attempt at her second album At That Point. In 2010, she starred in the film Lottery Ticket alongside rappers Bow Wow and Ice Cube. Since 2010, she has released several mixtapes including features from Nicki Minaj, Soulja Boy, and Gucci Mane.

In 2014 Teairra was featured on the song and the music video "Where This Light Goes" along with Tiffany Foxx and Angelina Pivarnick.

Melanie Blatt (born 25 March 1975) is an English singer-songwriter and actress. She is also the daughter of author and travel expert David Blatt. She rose to fame in 1997 as a member of the BRIT Award-winning girl group All Saints. The group have gained five number one singles, two multi-platinum albums, two BRIT Awards and have sold over 10 million records worldwide making them one of the best-selling girl groups of all time, and the second best-selling girl group in the UK. Melanie Blatt began recording a solo album in 2003, working with numerous producers including Xenomania and released her debut solo single "Do Me Wrong" in 2003. Blatt was later dropped by her record label, and her solo album was cancelled.
