The domain name download is a generic top-level domain (gTLD) in the Domain Name System of the Internet. It was admitted in the expansion of the top-level domain initiative of ICANN. It is intended to be used by companies or individuals offering downloadable content globally.

The domain launched in 2013-2014. Domain name registrations will be available from ICANN accredited registrars.

Second-level subdomains, e.g. example.download, may be registered. It will also be possible to register an e-mail address of the form [email protected].

Download (game show)

Download is an Australian children's game show aired on the Nine Network in 2000 until 2002, It hosted by Scott McRae in 2000-2001 and it replaced Now You See It, Nathan Lloyd in 2001-2002 and Emily Jade O'Keefe in 2002. The co-host is Miss Bytes (shown on TV in the studio).

Format

Round 1 & 2 (Small Screen Game)

Miss Bytes will introduce the first 2 players. The round works with choosing one category, the host will give one letter on the bottom of the screen, another letter will be at the top of the screen, a player gets it correctly gets 1 point and downloading the letter down and the player who got it right will take the answer correctly will get 4 points (in total 5 points). After a contestant says the answer at the top of the screen and then downloaded the letter that was on the top of the screen before and the contestant doesn't know the main answer, if this occurs a letter will be at the top of the screen for someone to guess it, downloading the letter and until someone guesses the main answer right. Sometimes when a letter is on the top of the screen, if 2 contestants do not press the buzzers in time or one contestant guesses the wrong answer/doesn't know and then the other contestant guesses the wrong answer/doesn't know, the host will give the answer and then download the letter and back at the top of the screen to attempt the correct answer. The player with 10 or more points will win that round and come back in Round 3. Round 2 is the same thing but with different players. The player with the least points will get prizes. The categories used were Screen Dreams, Planet Earth, Sounds, True Blue, Techno & Sweating It Out.

Download (TV series)

Download (formerly Friday Night Download) is an Australian TV show hosted by Friday Night Games hosts Mike Goldman, Ryan Fitzgerald and Bree Amer. The show first aired on 26 October 2007. A second series began on 17 October 2008, but the show was pulled from schedules only two episodes into its run.

Overview

Download showcased video clips collected from the Internet, such as those hosted on YouTube and Google Video. The show also prompted viewers to submit their own videos to the show.

Download also labels the hosts' top 5 favourite video downloads, each one shown just before a commercial break.

Sway is a 2014 young adult fiction book by American author Kat Spears and her debut novel. The work was first published on 16 September 2014 through St. Martin's Griffin and is a modern take on the story of Cyrano de Bergerac.

Synopsis

Jesse "Sway" Alderman is a boy who can get you whatever you want, be it fake IDs, term papers, or a date with that one person that seems to be completely unattainable. As a result Jesse has developed a reputation for being calm, collected, and never letting anything deter him from successfully completing his transactions. This resolve is tested when Ken, the school's football captain, asks Jessie to help him win over Bridget, a good girl that has already rebuffed his advances. No one is more surprised than Jesse when he finds himself developing feelings for Bridget and he's even more shocked when he finds himself bonding with Bridget's brother Pete, as Jesse goes out of his way to avoid making any real friendships. Pete has cerebral palsy and as a result, has a limp, an asymmetrical face, a huge problem with low self-esteem, and a massive chip on his shoulder regarding what he sees as people (including his own sister) being nice to him only out of pity and his parents constantly comparing him to Bridget, who they view as practically perfect.

Sway (dance)

The term sway has a specific meaning in the technique of ballroom dances. Sway describes a dancer's body position in which the entire body gracefully deflects from the vertical. Entrance to and exit from this position are matters of fine technical detail and differ in various dance figures.

Sway may be an element of both stationary and moving dance figures. In moving figures, sway is commonly achieved as a natural result of body swing, but small amounts from other sources may be useful as an inflection. Sway comes primarily from an incline of the entire body, but a portion may also come from gradual bending of the trunk. It is customary to consider any bending of the trunk to occur more as a stretching of one side of the rib cage more than as a compression of the other side. This description helps to produce sway without the body line breaking awkwardly at the waist. Substantial abdominal strength may be needed to fully utilize this technique.

Possible angles of sway range from having the upper body substantially trailing the lower through a movement, to having the upper body a very small amount in advance. The purposes of sway are both better control of dance motion and aesthetics.
