Exclusive (album)

Exclusive is the second studio album by American recording artist Chris Brown. It was released on November 6, 2007, by his independently-owned record label CBE, along with Jive Records; distributed by Zomba Group. The album was serving as the follow-up to his multi-platinum selling debut album Chris Brown (2005).

The album was critically and commercially successful, debuting at number 4 on the US Billboard 200, selling 295,000 copies in the first week. The album was supported by five singles; including three Billboard Hot 100, which successfully entered in the music markets, entering the top 20 amongst other charts worldwide. The album has earned double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in the United States, and the album sales it stands at three million copies in the worldwide. The album ranked number 34 on Rolling Stone's list of the Top 50 Albums of 2007.

On June 3, 2008, Exclusive was re-released, when it has expanded into a double-disc deluxe edition; including a counterparts from the DVD, which was also released, which features the behind the scenes footage and music videos from his tour.

Down (The Jesus Lizard album)

Down is an album by the Chicago band The Jesus Lizard. It was their last album for Touch and Go records and the last to be produced by Steve Albini.

The song "Horse" was labeled as "Pony Beat" on set lists for live shows. David Wm. Sims plays an organ on the album version.

The painting on the cover is "Falling Dog" by Malcolm Bucknall, for which Bucknall asked no pay and offers no explanation for the falling dog image. Bucknall also did the cover art for the Puss/Oh, the Guilt split single with Nirvana and the Jesus Lizard's Liar album.

Down (Sentenced album)

Down, released in November 1996 on Century Media records, is the fourth album by Sentenced. It is also the first album including the vocalist Ville Laihiala. This album marks the band's progression from melodic death metal to gothic metal.

Jewel (film)

Jewel is a 2001 television drama film directed by Paul Shapiro, based on the book of the same name by Bret Lott.

Plot

In 1945, Jewel Hilburn (Farrah Fawcett), 39, and her husband Leston (Patrick Bergin), 41, are scratching out a living in rural Mississippi, and caring for their four children: Raylene (Rachel Skarsten), 14; Burton (Kyle Fairlie), 11; Wilman (Max Morrow), 10; and Annie (Alexis Vandermaelen), 3. All Jewel's kids have been mid-wived by her friend and housekeeper, Cathedral (Cicely Tyson). Leston has been making a living pulling out pine stumps, selling them to be made into turpentine as part of the war effort. Cathedral's husband, Nelson (Ardon Bess), and their two sons, Sepulchur and Temple, all work for Leston.

The Hilburns discover that they are going to have another child, and decide it will be their last. Cathedral has a premonition and warns Jewel, prophesizing that the child she will bear will be her hardship and her test in this world but that it is God's way of smiling down on Jewel. Jewel gives birth to a baby girl, whom they name Brenda Kay. The child appears to be fine, but in time it becomes obvious that Brenda Kay isn't like other children. She seems to be developing much more slowly. Even at six months old, she lies very still, where other children her age are able to roll over.

Jewell (automobile)

The Jewel Motor Car Company of Massillon, Ohio (formerly the Forest City Motor Company) manufactured the Jewel automobile from 1906 to 1909.

History

The Forest City Motor Company was founded in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1905 and by the end of the year, the company had relocated to 114 Walnut Street in Massillon and had shortened the name of their automobile from Jewell to Jewel. During 1909, the name of the firm was changed to the Jewel Motor Car Company.

The Jewell Model B, a gasoline powered Runabout, was advertised in a national trade magazine in March 1906, as a "perfect" car for US$400. The automobile had 28-inch (710 mm) rubber wheels standard and optional pneumatic tires could be installed for an extra US$50. For another US$25, a top and side curtains were added. The first Jewell automobile was produced with a 8-horsepower and had a 2 cycle, single-cylinder, water-cooled engine. Transmission was a single planetary type with triple positive clutch.

In 1907, the Model D was sold for US$600. It was equipped with exterior a single-cylinder, two-cycle engine with 8-horsepower. The transmission had two speeds, forward and reverse. The car also came with lamps and a storm front and tools.
