Exclusive (album)

Exclusive is the second studio album by American recording artist Chris Brown. It was released on November 6, 2007, by his independently-owned record label CBE, along with Jive Records; distributed by Zomba Group. The album was serving as the follow-up to his multi-platinum selling debut album Chris Brown (2005).

The album was critically and commercially successful, debuting at number 4 on the US Billboard 200, selling 295,000 copies in the first week. The album was supported by five singles; including three Billboard Hot 100, which successfully entered in the music markets, entering the top 20 amongst other charts worldwide. The album has earned double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in the United States, and the album sales it stands at three million copies in the worldwide. The album ranked number 34 on Rolling Stone's list of the Top 50 Albums of 2007.

On June 3, 2008, Exclusive was re-released, when it has expanded into a double-disc deluxe edition; including a counterparts from the DVD, which was also released, which features the behind the scenes footage and music videos from his tour.

Down (The Jesus Lizard album)

Down is an album by the Chicago band The Jesus Lizard. It was their last album for Touch and Go records and the last to be produced by Steve Albini.

The song "Horse" was labeled as "Pony Beat" on set lists for live shows. David Wm. Sims plays an organ on the album version.

The painting on the cover is "Falling Dog" by Malcolm Bucknall, for which Bucknall asked no pay and offers no explanation for the falling dog image. Bucknall also did the cover art for the Puss/Oh, the Guilt split single with Nirvana and the Jesus Lizard's Liar album.

Down (Sentenced album)

Down, released in November 1996 on Century Media records, is the fourth album by Sentenced. It is also the first album including the vocalist Ville Laihiala. This album marks the band's progression from melodic death metal to gothic metal.

Solution (Solution album)

Solution is the first album by the Dutch symphonic rock group Solution. It was released in 1971 on the Decca label.

History

It is the only Solution album to feature original vocalist and bassist Peter van der Sande, who was replaced by Guus Willemse around the time of the LP release. Van der Sande provides raw vocals on "Phases", while the other four tracks are instrumental. Solution was recorded over three consecutive days in May 1971.

"Koan", "Trane Steps" and "Circus Circumstances" all feature frantic ensemble playing by the band, complemented by the relatively peaceful "Preview". The theme from the latter song would later be incorporated into the codas of "Second Line" and "Third Line" on the subsequent two albums.

"Circus Circumstances" is based on a composition by French composer Jacques Ibert.

In 1976 Solution was coupled with Divergence as a double album, retaining the eponymous title. This pairing was issued by EMI on Compact Disc in 1988 and again in 2007. In 2006, the entirety of the first album was included on The Ultimate Collection.

Solution .45

Solution .45 is a metal supergroup from Sweden, created by guitarist Jani Stefanovic (Miseration, Divinefire, Essence of Sorrow). Their current lineup includes vocalist Christian Älvestam (Miseration, ex-Scar Symmetry), guitarists Stefanovic and Patrik Gardberg (Torchbearer, The Few Against Many, Ammotrack), and drummer Rolf Pilve (Miseration, Essence of Sorrow, Stratovarius).

History

In late 2007 Jani Stefanovic formed Solution .45, with Christian Älvestam (who had left Scar Symmetry in 2008) joining as one of its last members. Jani stresses that despite Christian's presence in the band, it will not be a Scar Symmetry clone and that songs had been ready for some time before his arrival. In the fall of 2008 an 8-track demo was produced by Tomas "Plec" Johansson (Unmoored, Scar Symmetry), with a demo track titled "Clandestinity Now" available over the internet.

Solution .45 entered Panic Room Studios in September 2009 to record its first full-length album For Aeons Past, with Dark Tranquillity vocalist Mikael Stanne writing lyrics for the majority of the album. The record was finished and mastered in December 2009, and was issued by AFM records in Europe and Marquee/Avalon in Japan; released on 9 April 2010 in Europe, and May 11 in North America.
