    Douglas Chapman (born March 27, 1930) was a Canadian ice hockey player with the East York Lyndhursts. He won a silver medal at the 1954 World Ice Hockey Championships in Stockholm, Sweden. He also played with the Oshawa Generals.

    Doug Chapman (American football)

    Doug Chapman (born August 22, 1977) is a former running back in the National Football League who was drafted in the third round of the 2000 NFL draft by the Minnesota Vikings, for whom he played from 2000 to 2003. He signed with the San Diego Chargers in 2004, and retired in 2005 after a back injury. He attended Marshall University.

    Chapman was a color commentator for ESPN and the CBS Sports Network from 2008 to 2012. Chapman is currently a college football analyst for Campus Insiders and joined the Big Ten Network for the 2013 season as a guest analyst on Big Ten Football & Beyond, making his debut on September 3, 2013.

    Doug Chapman is a stunt performer and actor, a member of Stunts Canada, who works in film and television.

    Biography

    Height: 5 ft 10in

    He graduated in 1994 from the California State University, Chico with a Bachelor of Arts in Information and Communication Design in Media Arts.

    Career

    He has been a stunt double for Kurt Russell and Robert Englund, and worked on TV shows from X-Files to Smallville, and films from I, Robot to 300. He has also performed stunts for many commercials, including precision driving for commercials for Honda and Chrysler. Notable acting roles include Sergeant Cole in Stargate Atlantis, and Roy Chess in Watchmen.

    Chapman was uncredited for a stunt in the Smallville episode "Splinter" (Season 5, episode 7) where he was a stunt double for James Marsters. In the DVD commentary, Marsters says of Chapman, "...he was supposed to just land on top of the thing and the wine case and then slowly go down, and he got sent straight through it...that was such a nasty gag... but he was fine man, he’s a pro."

    Doug Chapman (Australian footballer)

    Walter Douglas "Doug" Chapman was an Australian rules footballer who played with Richmond and Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL).

    Born in Dromana to Henry George Chapman and Isobella Gibson, Doug Chapman joined Richmond from Dromana at the start of the 1908 VFL season. In 1910 he transferred to Essendon Association Football Club in the Victorian Football Association (VFA) and he was a member of their premiership winning team in 1912. He returned to the VFL when he joined Melbourne, where he made ten senior appearances during the 1913 VFL season. In 1914 he joined Hawthorn in their first year of senior football in the VFA and he played until 1919, making 29 appearances in total for the club.

    In 1917 he married Eveline Vere Innes and they lived in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne until his death in 1975.
