Catch the Wind
"Catch the Wind" is a song written and recorded by British singer-songwriter Donovan. It was released as a single in the United Kingdom on March 12, 1965 through Pye Records (Pye 7N 15801) and a few months later in the United States through Hickory Records (Hickory 45-1309). The single was backed with "Why Do You Treat Me Like You Do?" on both the United Kingdom and United States releases. The melody of the song was influenced by "Chimes of Freedom" by Bob Dylan.
"Catch the Wind" was the first release by Donovan. It reached No.4 in the United Kingdom singles chart and No.23 in the United States Billboard Hot 100. The single version featured Donovan's vocals with echo and a string section. The song was re-recorded for Donovan's first album What's Bin Did and What's Bin Hid, without the vocal echo and strings and with a harmonica solo added.
When Epic Records was compiling Donovan's Greatest Hits in 1968, the label was either unable or unwilling to secure the rights to the original recordings of "Catch the Wind" and Donovan's follow-up single, "Colours". Donovan re-recorded both songs for the album, with a full backing band including Big Jim Sullivan playing guitar and Mickie Most producing.
Catch the Wind (1971 album)
Catch the Wind is a compilation album from Scottish singer-songwriter Donovan. It was released in the United Kingdom (Hallmark Records HMA 200) in 1971 and did not chart. This 1971 release bears little resemblance to the 1965 version of What's Bin Did and What's Bin Hid released as Catch the Wind in the United States.
History
In 1971, Hallmark Records gained the rights to Donovan's 1965 Pye Records recordings. Hallmark titled the first compilation Catch the Wind and released it in 1971. Even with a compilation already on the market, Pye subsidiary Golden Hour Records released a compilation of the same recordings as Golden Hour of Donovan in the United Kingdom within the same year. The following year, Hallmark assembled a second compilation titled Colours.
It should be noticed that the Album Cover was printed wrongly as Donovan is right handed and not left handed as shown in the cover photo

Castle Records continued to release Donovan's 1965 Pye Records recordings in compilation after compilation in the early 2000s. Although all of the Pye recordings had been released by Castle as Summer Day Reflection Songs in 2000, several of the tracks were reissued again as Catch the Wind.

The Wind (album)
The Wind is the twelfth and final studio album by American singer/songwriter Warren Zevon. The album was released on August 26, 2003, by Artemis Records. Zevon began recording the album shortly after he was diagnosed with inoperable pleural mesothelioma (a cancer of the lining of the lung), and it was released just two weeks before his death on September 7, 2003. The album was awarded the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Folk Album. "Disorder in the House", performed by Zevon and Bruce Springsteen, won Best Rock Vocal Performance (Group or Duo). Songs from the album were nominated for an additional three Grammys.

Emotions (Mariah Carey album)
Emotions is the second studio album by American singer-songwriter Mariah Carey. It was released on September 17, 1991 by Columbia Records. The album deviated from the formula of Carey's 1990 self-titled debut album, as she had more creative control over the material she produced and recorded. Additionally, Emotions features influences from a range of genres such as gospel, R&B, soul, pop and 1950s, 1960s and 1970s balladry infusion. On the record, Carey worked with a variety of producers and writers, including Walter Afanasieff, the only hold over from her previous effort. Additionally, Carey wrote and produced the album's material with Robert Clivillés and David Cole from C+C Music Factory and Carole King, with whom she wrote one song.
Upon release, Emotions received generally mixed reviews from contemporary music critics. The album debuted at number four on the Billboard 200, surprising many critics following the success of Carey's debut, which spent eleven weeks atop the chart. While selling far less than Mariah Carey, Emotions was eventually certified quadruple-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), denoting shipments of four million copies throughout the country, with estimated sales standing at 3,595,000 copies. Emotions achieved moderate success outside the United States, peaking within the top ten in Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway and the United Kingdom. Its success in Japan was strong, shipping one million copies there. The album has sold 8 million copies worldwide.
