    A Cloud Covering The Sun

    by: Don Taylor

    Sirens are everywhere
    Nowhere to run
    The sound is deafening
    What has been done?
    Where will you go?
    To whom will you turn?
    In the school of life
    Will you ever learn?
It's okay... not to be okay... right now
It's just a cloud covering the sun
The rainbow is on it's way
It's just a cloud covering the sun.
    Wallow in sadness
    Then sift through the mire
    Wake up from emptiness
    Still feeling tired.
    Where will you go?
    Who will you see?
    When the dust settles,
    Who will you be?
It's okay... not to be okay... right now
It's just a cloud covering the sun
The rainbow is on it's way
It's just a cloud covering the sun.
    You can choose Light
    Or you can choose gloom
    Will you be satisfied
    Alone in your room?
    Breathe deep the chaos
    When nothing makes sense
    Overcome the illusion
    And build your defense
It's okay... not to be okay... right now
It's just a cloud covering the sun
The rainbow is on it's way
It's just a cloud covering the sun.
