Don Bodin is an award winning music composer, producer and songwriter living in Los Angeles. Bodin has composed music for several promotional films and commercial advertising spots for Toyota of Europe and Yamaha Motors as well as several independent films including creating original music for Director Damian Chapa's independent film Fuego starring David Carradine
In addition to his work creating music for media Bodin has released 13 albums of instrumental music since 2006.
Bodin's 2008 release The Radioactive Werewolf and other Tales from the Southwest which album contains performances by Alain Whyte, Chris Schleyer and Elif Savas.
Prior to composing music for film and television, he ran the now defunct Independent label Baby Factory and produced alternative rock band Kill Hannah's debut album Humming Birds The Size of Bullets as well as tracks from the bands American Jet Set album.
In April of 2015 Bodin received 4 Independent Music Award Nominations. 2 nominations for music from his 2014 EP release 'Chronomicon". One nomination for Best Instrumental Song and one for Best Instrumental EP, and 2 Independent Music Award Nominations for music from his 2014 EP release "'Awake In Exile". One nomination for Best Instrumental Song and one for Best Instrumental EP. Don Bodin's EP release "Chronomicon" won the award for "Best Instrumental EP" at the 2015 14th Annual Independent Music Awards.

Bodin is a parish and former municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It was a large municipality encompassing all of the mainland area around the town of Bodø, part of the land on the southern shore of the Saltfjorden, and the islands of Helligvær, Landegode, Bliksvær, and Givær. It lies entirely inside the present-day municipality of Bodø.
The present-day parish of Bodin represents the mainland area immediately surrounding the town of Bodø and the western islands. The main church for the parish is the historic Bodin Church.
The municipality of Bodø landdistrikt was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). It included the rural areas surrounding the town of Bodø. In 1896, the name was changed to Bodin. On 1 July 1938, an area of Bodin (population: 559) was transferred to Bodø. On 1 January 1959, another area of Bodin (population: 1,303) was transferred to the town of Bodø. On 1 January 1963, an area of Skjerstad (population: 224) was transferred to Bodin.
