Doirani (Greek: Δοϊράνη) is a former municipality in the Kilkis regional unit, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Kilkis, of which it is a municipal unit. It is situated on the shores of Dojran Lake, which marks the border between Greece and the Republic of Macedonia. It had a population of 2,208 according to the 2001 census. It is the Greek part of the former municipality of Doyuran, which was divided in 1913 by the new borders created between Greece and what was then Serbia. The part at the other side of the border is called Dojran. The name comes from the ancient name Doviros.
Doirani was the site of much Greek-Bulgarian inter-ethnic fighting during the Macedonian Struggle in the early 20th century. Konstantinos Papagiannakis from Doirani was the most prominent Greek Macedonian Fighter in the area.
If I could ride this slide into forever
What would I give to getaway
That pain that stayed
Seemed like forever
What would you give to getaway
I know this is how I could be over you
You know this is not another waste of time
All this holding on can't be wrong
Just come back to me and I am not alone
You had your man your fan but not forever
You should have let him
You should have let him getaway
But your pride made you ride on this slide by his side to his lies
Seemed like forever
What would you give to getaway
I know this is how I could be over you
You know this is not another waste of time
All this holding on can't be wrong
Just come back to me so I am not alone
To getaway
To getaway
To getaway
To getaway
I know this is how I could be over you
You know this is not another waste of time
All this holding on can't be wrong
And I know this is how I could be over you
You know that I am not another waste of time
All this holding on can't be wrong
If you come back to me so I am not alone
