American Horror Story is an American horror television series created and produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. Described as an anthology series, each season is conceived as a self-contained miniseries, following a disparate set of characters, settings, and a storyline with its own beginning, middle, and end. However, Murphy has stated that all of the seasons are and will be connected by the end of the series.
The first season, subtitled Murder House, takes place during 2011 in Los Angeles, California and centers on a family that moves into a house haunted by its deceased former occupants. The second season, subtitled Asylum, takes place during 1964 in Massachusetts and follows the stories of the inmates and staff of an institution for the criminally insane. The third season, subtitled Coven, takes place during 2013 in New Orleans, Louisiana and follows a coven of witches who face off against those who wish to destroy them. The fourth season, subtitled Freak Show, takes place during 1952 in Jupiter, Florida and focuses on one of the last remaining freak shows in America and its struggle to survive. The fifth season, subtitled Hotel, takes place during 2015 in Los Angeles, California and centers on the unusual occurrences and people of a mysterious and outdated hotel.
Dora (Greek: Δώρα) is a female name of Greek origin being a shortened form or derived from Dorothea (Dorothy), Theodora meaning "Gift" or in its full form "God's Gift", from δῶρον, doron, "gift" + θεός, theos, "god". The name Dora can also be a short form of Isadora, Isidora and other such compound names. The earliest form of the word doron is the Mycenaean Greek 𐀈𐀨, do-ra, meaning "gifts", written in the Linear B syllabic script, but it is not an anthroponym, it is only the plural (δῶρα) of said word; on the other hand, the names Theodora and Amphidora are attested in Linear B as 𐀳𐀃𐀈𐀨, te-o-do-ra, and 𐀀𐀠𐀈𐀨, a-pi-do-ra, respectively. The masculine counterpart of the latter, i.e. Amphidoros, is also found: 𐀀𐀠𐀈𐀫, a-pi-do-ro.
In the Russian language, Dora can be a diminutive of the male first name Agafodor.
Doesn't come down when she calls, "It's time for breakfast"
Momma can't get down those halls fast enough to see
Glass is sprayed across the floor from the broken window
She can't breathe anymore, can't deny what we know
They're gonna find you, just believe
You're not a person, you're a disease
All these lives that you've been taking
Deep inside, my heart is breaking
Broken homes from separation
Don't you know it's violation?
It's so wrong, but you'll see
Never gonna let you take my world from me
The world outside these walls may know you're breathing
But you ain't coming in, but you ain't coming in
Posters hung on building walls
Of missing faces
Months go by without the cause
The clues or traces
They're gonna find you, just believe
You're not a person, you're a disease
All these lives that you've been taking
Deep inside, my heart is breaking
Broken homes from separation
Don't you know it's violation?
It's so wrong, but you'll see
Never gonna let you take my world from me
The world outside these walls may know you're breathing
But you ain't coming in
Shed the light on all the ones
Who never thought they would become
A father, mother asking
Why this world can be so cold?
Doesn't come down when she calls
"It's time for breakfast"
The memories begin to fall
She asks, "When will I be free?"
All these lives that you've been taking
Deep inside, my heart is breaking
Broken homes from separation
Don't you know it's violation?
It's so wrong, but you'll see
Never gonna let you take my world from me
The world outside these walls may know you're breathing
But you ain't coming in
All these lives that you've been taking
Deep inside, my heart is breaking
All these lives that you've been taking
Deep inside, my heart is breaking
All these lives that you've been taking
Deep inside, my heart is breaking
The world outside these walls may know you're breathing
The world outside these walls may know you're breathing
