The Chap is a British bi-monthly magazine and related books, founded in 1999 by Gustav Temple and Vic Darkwood, and still edited by Gustav Temple. Printed in B5 format the magazine proposes a return to a more dandified way of life, involving the wearing of tweed and fine clothes, proper head wear, pipe smoking, cultivating facial hair (especially moustaches), quality handmade shoes and sharply pressed trousers.
The magazine is predominantly a mixture of articles on clothing, sport (mainly cricket and horse racing) and tobacco-related articles interspersed with humorous jokes and guidance on etiquette. The "Am I a Chap" section sees people send photos of themselves dressed in vintage attire which the magazine's editors often deride. Each magazine usually features an interview conducted by Michael Attree. Earlier editions were often more-in-cheek with articles such as "A Year in Catford".
While Chappism appreciates British culture and loves tradition, it is rooted in the Situationist strand of anarchism with more than the occasional nod to Dada. It is also indebted to Monty Python, Peter Cook, Spike Milligan and Viv Stanshall as much as it is to the avant-garde.
The Chap are an experimental pop band from North London. Their music is a mix of Electronica, Rock, Krautrock and Pop.
Berit Immig and Johannes von Weizsäcker first met when playing in band Karamasov (Satellite Records).
In early 2006 they toured Europe to support their second album Ham which gained much critical acclaim including an album of the month in The Wire. On 19 April 2008 (26 April in the UK) they released a third album, Mega Breakfast . During 2008 and 2009, the band completed several UK and mainland European tours as well as their first US tour.
In May 2010 they released Well Done Europe, which received a rating of 7.7 from Pitchfork Media.
In March 2012 they released We Are Nobody, which received a rating of 7.0 from Pitchfork Media.

Do It! is the fifth album by the band Clinic, released on 7 April 2008. The single "Free Not Free" (with b-side "Thor") was made available on 1 February 2008 as a free download from clinicvoot.org. "Witch (Made to Measure)" was released as the second single in May 2008. "Tomorrow" was released as a single on 24 November.
Do It is the first EP after the first full-length album Life Time from Rollins Band, fronted by ex-Black Flag singer, Henry Rollins.
Do It was originally released in 1987 and included three studio recordings (1-3) and 6 live tracks recorded in Deventer, the Netherlands October 22, 1987 (5-10). The three studio tracks are Pink Fairies, Velvet Underground and Louis Prima & Sam Butera covers, produced by Ian MacKaye, well known in the genre of hardcore punk for his work with Minor Threat and as co-owner of the Dischord record label.
The record was subsequently re-mastered and re-released in 2007 with additional live tracks from the Fall 1987 Tour. These include the addition of the introductory track titled "Joe Is Everything, Everything Is Joe" (which refers to Rollins' roommate Joe Cole), two live tracks from Kortrijk, Belgium (11-12), two live tracks from London, England (13-14) and the final track from Ravensburg, Germany (15). Six more tracks from the same tour can be found on the rare Split Live LP with the Dutch noise band Gore from a show recorded at El Mocambo in Toronto, Ontario on May 17, 1987. The three studio tracks were also included in the re-mastered package of the Life Time album.
