The Deadly Viper Assassination Squad is a group of fictional characters in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill.
They were, as their name suggests, an assassin squad, run and managed by Bill. He is known to have had a romance with Kiddo (his girlfriend and protégée, whom he impregnates).
Although their name suggests that the members of the team are codenamed with vipers' names, the black mamba and the California mountain snake do not belong to the viper family; the black mamba is an elapid and the California mountain snake belongs to the colubrids.
At the time of The Bride's revenge, the group has largely disbanded. Vernita lives as a housewife with a daughter, O-Ren is a crime boss in Tokyo, Budd is a bar bouncer, Bill is shown mostly as a retired killer to whom Elle remains fanatically devoted. The Bride has just recovered from a four-year coma, which started when the others came to her wedding rehearsal and killed the wedding party, but mistakenly left her alive. Bill delivers what he believes to be the coup de grâce as revenge for walking out on him. Their daughter is delivered while she is in a coma, and is being raised by Bill without her knowledge.
A diva (/ˈdiːvə/; Italian: [ˈdiːva]) is a celebrated female singer; a woman of outstanding talent in the world of opera, and by extension in theatre, cinema and popular music. The meaning of diva is closely related to that of prima donna.
The word entered the English language in the late 19th century. It is derived from the Italian noun diva, a female deity. The plural of the word in English is "divas"; in Italian, dive [ˈdiːve]. The basic sense of the term is goddess, the feminine of the Latin word divus (Italian divo), someone deified after death, or Latin deus, a god.
The male form divo exists in Italian and is usually reserved for the most prominent leading tenors, like Enrico Caruso and Beniamino Gigli. The Italian term divismo describes the star-making system in the film industry. In contemporary Italian, diva and divo simply denote much-admired celebrities, especially film actresses and actors, and can be translated as "(film) star". The Italian actress Lyda Borelli is considered the first cinematic diva, following her breakthrough role in Love Everlasting (1913).
Divas: Tuga me nocas dotakla
Rukom, što osmijeh ubija
Drugom me odvela
Tebi je mahnula!
Oliver: Vrijeme, što rane iscjeliva
Nezna, da još te ljubim ja!
Nocas si zaspala
Na tudjim rukama!
Divas: Druga dok te pokriva
Ti znaš to nisam ja
Oliver: Druga kad me poljubi
Ja znam to nisi ti!
Oliver: Priznaj da šutiš kao i ja
Hodaš bez jednog koraka
Divas: Jeli to nepravda
Ili tek istina?!
Druga dok te pokriva
Ti znaš to nisam ja
Druga kad me poljubi
Ja znam to nisi ti
(to nismo mi)
Druga dok te pokriva
Ti znaš to nisam ja
Druga kad me poljubi
Ja znam to nisi ti (ne, to nisam ja)
Druga dok te pokriva
Ti znaš to nisam ja
(ne, ne to nisam ja, ne, ne to nisi ti)
Ja znam to nisi ti
To nismo mi...
To nismo mi!
