"Remix (I Like The)" is a song by American pop group New Kids on the Block from their sixth studio album, 10. The song was released as the album's lead single on January 28, 2013. "Remix (I Like The)" was written by Lars Halvor Jensen, Johannes Jørgensen, and Lemar, and it was produced by Deekay. The song features Donnie Wahlberg and Joey McIntyre on lead vocals.
"Remix (I Like The)" did not enter the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, becoming their first lead single to fail charting since "Be My Girl" (1986). Instead, the song peaked at number 38 on the Adult Pop Songs chart.
PopCrush gave the song 3.5 stars out of five. In her review Jessica Sager wrote, "The song sounds like an adult contemporary answer to The Wanted mixed with Bruno Mars‘ ‘Locked Out of Heaven.’ It has a danceable beat like many of the British bad boys’ tracks, but is stripped down and raw enough to pass for Mars’ latest radio smash as well." Carl Williott of Idolator commended the song's chorus, but criticized its "liberal use of Auto-Tune" and compared Donnie Wahlberg's vocals to Chad Kroeger.
Remix was an Indian television series produced by Rose Audio Visuals, which used to air on STAR One. It was a hit among teenagers and had reruns on the same channel. The series is a remake of the popular Argentine soap Rebelde Way.
The story is based on the lives of 12th-grade students in an elite school called "Maurya High" for the kids of the rich and the famous, and scholarship students from poorer families.
The four main characters are Tia Ahuja (a fashion entrepreneur's only daughter: Sumit Ahuja), Anvesha Ray Banerjee (a Bollywood filmstar's only daughter: Sonia Ray), Yuvraaj Dev (brat son of India's politician: Yashwant Dev), and Ranveer Sisodia (a Rajasthani royal who comes to Maurya to avenge the death of his father which wasn't really Sumit Ahuja's fault). They form the music group "Remix" and become the singing sensation of the decade.
The story also brings into play other elements that shape the destiny of the four protagonists and many others.
Platnum are a British three-piece bassline vocal group from Manchester, UK, consisting of male vocalist Aaron Evers and female vocalists Mina Poli and Michelle McKenna. The trio are best known for providing the vocals on H "Two" O's 2008 single, "What's It Gonna Be?", which reached number two in the UK Singles Chart in February 2008. Platnum, who formed around 2004, have worked with DJs Jamie Duggan and Q as well as producers Virgo, H "Two" O and Nastee Boi.
The groups highly anticipated second single, "Love Shy (Thinking About You)" was released on 29 September 2008 and they have also started work on their debut album which became a mixtape. They were touring, supporting N-Dubz, in the UK in Autumn 2009.
The group formed for a local talent show. The selected name for the new band was Urban Superstars, in around 2004. They did not win the competition, they then used their entry track Over the Heartache to showcase their talents to established members of the UK Bassline scene. The track proved popular, and a remix, by DJ Jamie Duggan, was awarded Bassline Heaven's Tune of the Year Award in 2006, In actual fact, Damien Thompson (A.K.A D-Tox) engineered and co-produced the track, but was not credited, as he was signed to the Reflective record label at the time. Nocturnal Records released the track on vinyl, in the same year. The track also had major interest from Ministry Of Sound, with the prospect of a major release, but an agreement could not be made between the singers and producers as to whose name would be credited first in the title. The group have met many other singers and producers such as Sacha and S.U.D.

I'm a monster, beast, yet a masterpiece.
An evil genius when I'm on the beats.
Have you lost your mind? Here take mine,
I don't need it, I barely use it half the time.
I'm insane, I'm sayin' I've never been sane,
These crazy mind games and tricks I've been playin.
Wherever I go these voices tag-along,
I'm in the booth rappin' with a straight jacket on.
I'm not feelin' alright,
There's too much on my mind.
I can't sleep at night,
It's hard to close my eyes.
I believe I need help,
But I can't trust myself,
I wish there was something else.

Throw on your break lights,
We're in the city of wonder.
Ain't gonna play nice,
Watch out, you might just go under.
Better think twice,
Your train of thought will be altered,
So if you must faulter be wise.
Your mind's in disturbia,
It's like the darkness is the light, disturbia.
Am I scaring you tonight, disturbia.
Ain't used to what you like, disturbia.
Disturbia.

Faded pictures on the wall,
It's like they talkin' to me.
Disconnectin' your call,
Your phone don't even ring.
I gotta get out,
Or figure this shit out.
It's too close for comfort.
It's a thief in the night,
To come and grab you.
It can creep up inside you,
And consume you.
A disease of the mind,
It can control you.
I feel like a monster (Oh, oh oh oh)
Throw on your break lights,
We're in the city of wonder.
Ain't gonna play nice,
Watch out, you might just go under.
Better think twice,
Your train of thought will be altered,
So if you must faulter be wise.

Ain't used to what you like, disturbia.

I mean even when you think you are, you aint safe.
I'll emerge from the shadow in joker face paint.
Better make an escape and vacate the place,
I'ma chase you down until we face to face.
All I wanted to say is I need some help,
Lately I feel like I haven't been myself,
Like my minds somewhere else, I need to find a cure,
I just want things back to the way they were.
(Rihanna)
Release me from this curse im in,
trying to maintain, But I'm struggling.
If You can't go, go, go
I think I'm going to oh, oh, oh
Throw on your break lights,
We're in the city of wonder.
Ain't gonna play nice,
Watch out, you might just go under.
Better think twice,
Your train of thought will be altered,
So if you must faulter be wise.
