Plague (1978 film)
Plague is a 1979 Canadian-American science fiction film about a genetic engineering accident, a fertilizing bacterium that escapes from a laboratory in Canada. The film is also known internationally as Induced Syndrome (UK), M-3: The Gemini Strain or Mutation (USA).
Plot
A deadly bacteria called M3 is released and causes sickness and death around the world. Scientist Daniel Pilon works tirelessly to develop an antidote to stop the contagion.
Release
The film was released theatrically in the United States by Group 1 International Distribution Organization Ltd. in January 1979.
The film was released on DVD in the United Kingdom by Digital Entertainment Ltd in 2008. As of 2011, the film has still not been officially released on DVD in the United States.

Klinik
Klinik, (sometimes called The Klinik), is an industrial music band from Belgium, originally formed around 1982 by electro-synthpop practitioner Marc Verhaeghen, who is the only constant member.
History
Marc Verhaeghen originally formed Klinik in the early-to-mid 1980s; the exact date varies depending on the source. The group is normally described as one of the most influential Belgian industrial bands in history.
In 1985, Verhaeghen joined forces with two other bands, Absolute Body Control (with Dirk Ivens and Eric van Wonterghem), and "The Maniacs" (Sandy Nys) to form one "super group" "Absolute Controlled Clinical Maniacs". This rather unwieldy name was soon dropped in favour of the shorter name "The Klinik". Nys soon left the band to form "Hybryds", followed in 1987 by van Wonterghem, leaving The Klinik as the "classic" duo of Dirk Ivens and Marc Verhaeghen.
The Klinik soon made a name for themselves with their cold and harsh EBM sound and their live shows, where both Ivens and Verhaeghen performed with their heads wrapped in gauze, wearing long black leather coats. Ivens' hissing vocals and minimalist lyrics were complemented by Verhaeghen's synthesizer skills and distorted trombone playing. This however, did not last forever; after Time, an album neither member was fully pleased with, musical differences became too great, and they decided to go their separate ways. In a 2013 interview, Ivens said the due were moving in different directions musically, and that compromise between only two members was challenging.

Exhibitions and studies
A season of artworks and exhibits on the theme of dirt was sponsored by the Wellcome Trust in 2011. The centrepiece was an exhibition at the Wellcome Collection showing pictures and histories of notable dirt such as the great dust heaps at Euston and King's Cross in the 19th century and the Fresh Kills landfill which was once the world's largest.

"Dirt" is a song recorded by American country music duo Florida Georgia Line. It is the first single from their sophomore studio album Anything Goes, which was released on October 14, 2014.
Content
Written by Rodney Clawson and Chris Tompkins, the song is a mid-tempo ballad about various life events centering on dirt.
The final lines of the song include the lyrics "You know you came from it / Someday you'll return to it", which the duo initially did not want to include as they felt it was a cliché. However they eventually decided to include the line. Brian Kelley, one-half of the duo, told the Chicago Sun-Times, "I think a 'Cruise'-type song would have been accepted, but just when you think you have FGL figured out, we wanted to go against the grain and change it up with a song like 'Dirt'".
Music video
The music video was directed by Nigel Dick. It follows the life of a married couple, alternating between the past and present, where the family is gathered for the mother's funeral. It stars J. D. Souther in the leading role and Lindsay Heyser as the young Rosie.
