Ken (unit)
The ken (間) is a traditional Japanese unit of length, equal to six Japanese feet (shaku). The exact value has varied over time and location but has generally been a little shorter than 2 meters (6 ft 7 in). It is now standardized as 1 9/11meter.
Although mostly supplanted by the metric system, this unit is a common measurement in Japanese architecture, where it is used as a proportion for the intervals between the pillars of traditional-style buildings. In this context, it is commonly translated as "bay". The length also appears in other contexts, such as the standard length of the bō staff in Japanese martial arts and the standard dimensions of the tatami mats. As these are used to cover the floors of most Japanese houses, floor surfaces are still commonly measured not in square meters but in "tatami" which are equivalent to half of a square ken.

Among English loanwords of Japanese origin, both ken and ma are derived from readings of the same character 間.
This kanji graphically combines 門 "door" and 日 "sun". The earlier variant character 閒 was written with 月 "moon" rather than "sun", depicting "A 門 door through the crevice of which the 月 moonshine peeps in".
Ken (singer)
Lee Jae-hwan (Hangul: 이재환, born April 6, 1992), better known by his stage name Ken (Hangul: 켄), is a South Korean singer and actor, signed under Jellyfish Entertainment. He is one of the main vocalists the South Korean boy group VIXX and has been widely praised for his unique, soulful, and husky vocal tone. Ken began his acting career in 2013 in MBC Every 1's comedy drama Boarding House No. 24 as Lee Jaehwan.
Early Life
Born April 6, 1992 in Jayang-dong, Seoul, South Korea, Ken's family consists of his parents, himself and two older brothers. He studied at Baekseok Arts University majoring in Practical Music. At a young age, he entered and won many singing competitions at local festivals. He later performed and won more singing competitions in middle school as part of a team with his friends. He has won multiple song-writing awards prior to debuting with VIXX.
Career
2012-2013: Debut with VIXX, acting debut and OSTs
Despite an absence of any of dance experience, Ken was able to pass his audition to Jellyfish Entertainment because of his singing where he trained for five months before debuting with VIXX. During this time Ken was one of ten trainees who were contestants in Mnet's survival reality show MyDOL and was chosen to be apart of the final line-up and the 6-member boy group finally debuted with "Super Hero" on May 24, 2012 on M! Countdown.
Dime (United States coin)
The dime is a ten cent coin, one tenth of a United States dollar, labeled formally as "one dime". The denomination was first authorized by the Coinage Act of 1792. The dime is the smallest in diameter and is the thinnest of all U.S. coins currently minted for circulation. As of 2011, the dime coin cost 5.65 cents to produce. The word "dime" comes from the French word "dîme", meaning "tithe" or "tenth part", from the Latin decima [pars]. In the past prices have occasionally been quoted on signage and other materials in terms of dimes, abbreviated as "d" or a lowercase "d" with a slash through it (₫) as with the cent and mille signs.
History
The Coinage Act of 1792 established the dime (spelled "disme" in the legislation), cent, and mill as subdivisions of the dollar equal to 1⁄10, 1⁄100 and 1⁄1000 dollar respectively.
The first known proposal for a decimal-based coinage system in the United States was made in 1783 by Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Hamilton, and David Rittenhouse. Hamilton, the nation's first Secretary of the Treasury, recommended the issuance of six such coins in 1791, in a report to Congress. Among the six was a silver coin, "which shall be, in weight and value, one tenth part of a silver unit or dollar".
Feelings (Morris Albert song)
"Feelings" is a 1974 song with lyrics written by Brazilian singer Morris Albert, set to the tune of "Pour Toi," separately composed by Louis “Loulou” Gasté in 1957. Albert recorded "Feelings" as a single and later included it as the title track of his 1975 debut album. The song's lyrics, recognizable by their "whoa whoa whoa" chorus, concern the singer's inability to "forget my feelings of love". Albert's original recording of the song was very successful, performing well internationally. "Feelings" peaked at #6 on the pop and #2 on the Adult Contemporary charts in America.

Over the next few years "Feelings" was performed by many other vocalists including Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, Salena Jones, Angelica Maria, Petula Clark, José José, Caetano Veloso, Engelbert Humperdinck, Muslim Magomayev, Shirley Bassey, Glen Campbell, The O'Jays, Sarah Vaughan, Walter Jackson, Sergey Penkin, Julio Iglesias, Dobie Gray and Johnny Mathis. It was also recorded by numerous easy listening bandleaders and ensembles such as Percy Faith, Ferrante & Teicher, 101 Strings and Herb Ohta whose ukulele rendition was recorded with André Popp's orchestra for A&M Records.
Dime (album)
Dime (Spanish: Tell me) is the third Spanish album released by Christian rock band Guardian. The album was released in 2001.
The album features several unique characteristics. Whereas the band's previous Spanish albums featured remakes of songs released in their previous albums, this album features only original material written specifically for the Latin American market. It is also the first album not to feature original bassist and band founder, David Bach.
As of 2007, it is the last studio album released by the band.
