Koa or KOA may refer to:

KOA (AM)

KOA is a clear-channel AM radio station licensed to Denver, Colorado. Owned by iHeartMedia, it serves the Denver-Boulder and Colorado Springs, Colorado markets. Nicknamed "the Blowtorch of the West", KOA has studios in Southeast Denver, while the transmitter site is in Parker. KOA broadcasts a news/talk format, and is also the flagship station of the Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies, and Colorado Buffaloes.

KOA was first owned by General Electric and began broadcasting in 1924. The station started with 5,000 watts, and in 1927, increased to 12,500 watts. On July 7, 1934, power was raised to the current level of 50,000 watts. KOA is the dominant clear-channel station on 850 AM; at night, the signal can be heard in over 30 states of the U.S. and over most of Canada and Mexico. KOA sometimes can be picked up in California, and is usually picked up in Central Washington state, both locations are west of the Rocky Mountains, an obstacle that prevents most east coast radio stations from traveling west of the Rockies. As of November 1, 2015, KOA also broadcasts on 94.1 FM via the translator K231BQ in Golden, Colorado.

Azul (Los Piojos album)

Azul (Blue) is the fourth album by Argentine rock band Los Piojos, recorded at Del Cielito Records studio and released in 1998. This work mixes candombe and murga with the traditional rhythms used by the band and was presented live in Parque Sarmiento and at the All Boys stadium.

Reception

The Allmusic review by Victor W. Valdivia awarded the album 4 stars stating "Los Piojos are amazingly eclectic in their approach to music... they incorporate reggae and Caribbean rhythms, but they also show an influence of classic rock and alternative. That's not to say that they don't explore their Latin roots on various instances... The lyrics are also wide-ranging, veering from nakedly revealing self-portraits to Michael Stipe-like inscrutability. As diverse as the album gets, though, nothing ever feels forced or contrived. Azul is the only one of Los Piojos' four albums available in the U.S, but it is a superb introduction to their talent and may inspire listeners to seek out their earlier releases.".

Azul (song)

"Azul" is a song written by Kike Santander and Gustavo Santander and performed by Mexican singer Cristian Castro. It was released in 2001 as the lead single from his seventh album Azul. At the 2002 Billboard Latin Music Awards, the song received a nomination for Latin Pop Airplay of the Year which was awarded to Juan Gabriel for "Abrázame Muy Fuerte". The song also received a Lo Nuestro Award nomination for Pop Song of the Year which was also awarded to "Abrázame Muy Fuerte" by Gabriel.

A music video, directed by Pedro Torres, was shot in 2001 in South Beach, Florida. The music video was premiered on Primer Impacto on June 6 and aired on MTV on June 7. The music video was included on Nunca Voy a Olvidarte...Los Exitos DVD.

Azul is an album by Cristian Castro. It was nominated Best Latin Pop Album of 2002. The title track, "Azul", topped the Latin charts.

Dia (Hangul: 디아, stylized as DIA) (born June 12, 1992) is a South Korean singer and a member of the disbanded girl group Kiss&Cry

Career

Dia created a sketchbook called Dia's Sketchbook, in which she places videos of her singing covers of other people's songs. Dia has collaborated with many artist including IU, The Black, D'Nine, H-Eugene, PD Blue, and such.

She was a member of girl group Kiss & Cry, which released one single and then disbanded (although their company claims they are simply on hiatus, there is notably no mention of the group anywhere on the company's website).

Dia was mistaken as a copier of 2NE1's Bom due to her similar appearance and vocal ability. Dia felt hurt after many people critiqued that she was an imitator of Bom. She stated that she would like to meet Bom and thank her, she also stated she wants to show her own styles and capabilities.
