Deuterium (symbol D or 2H, also known as heavy hydrogen) is one of two stable isotopes of hydrogen. The nucleus of deuterium, called a deuteron, contains one proton and one neutron, whereas the far more common hydrogen isotope, protium, has no neutron in the nucleus. Deuterium has a natural abundance in Earth's oceans of about one atom in 7003642000000000000♠6420 of hydrogen. Thus deuterium accounts for approximately 0.0156% (or on a mass basis 0.0312%) of all the naturally occurring hydrogen in the oceans, while the most common isotope (hydrogen-1 or protium) accounts for more than 99.98%. The abundance of deuterium changes slightly from one kind of natural water to another (see Vienna Standard Mean Ocean Water).
The deuterium isotope's name is formed from the Greek deuteros meaning "second", to denote the two particles composing the nucleus. Deuterium was discovered and named in 1931 by Harold Urey, earning him a Nobel Prize in 1934. This was followed by the discovery of the neutron in 1932, which made the nuclear structure of deuterium obvious. Soon after deuterium's discovery, Urey and others produced samples of "heavy water" in which the deuterium had been highly concentrated.
Chorus
Going for a long drive, don’t care where I go.I just
need to bail out,to be on my own.Turn the music up,live
again
Going for a work out,try to keep me sane.Every day a
dog fight, try to win my space.Turn the music up,live
again.
Verse
I sat around, must of been midnight,I never went to bed.
Hey,hey,hey,Hey,hey,hey,will be a good night
Hey,hey,hey,Hey,hey,hey,I’m feeling alright
The sun was up I was still inside,we never saw the
light
Hey,hey,hey,Hey,hey,hey,having a good time
Hey,hey,hey,Hey,hey,hey,having so much fun
Chorus
Going for a long drive, don’t care where I go.I just
need to bail out,to be on my own.Turn the music up,live
again
Going for a work out,try to keep me sane.Every day a
dog fight, try to win my space.Turn the music up,live
again.
Verse
She throw a punch fell on my back side, she looked so
satisfied
Hey,hey,hey,hey,hey,hey,my chance just blew out
Hey,hey,hey,hey,hey,hey,she knew to fight back
She always said it was a long shot, was too good to run
Hey,hey,hey,hey,hey,hey,had me a good try
Hey,hey,hey,hey,hey,hey,got me got burnt out
Chorus
Going for a long drive, don’t care where I go.I just
need to bail out,to be on my own.Turn the music up,live
again
Going for a work out,try to keep me sane.Every day a
dog fight, try to win my space.Turn the music up,live
again.
Verse
I was so down I saw my inside, was nowhere I could hide
Hey,hey,hey,hey,hey,hey,I was a sad sight
Hey,hey,hey,hey,hey,hey,my throat was so tight
She throw a punch fell on my back side, she looked so
satisfied
Hey,hey,hey,hey,hey,hey,my chance just blew out
