Fox (clothing)
Fox (Hebrew: פוקס) is an Israel-based fashion chain specializing in women's, men's, children's, and babies' fashions: FOX, FOX MEN, FOX KIDS, FOX HOME and FOX BABY.
History
Fox was founded in 1942 in pre-state Israel as Trico Fox Ltd. (Hebrew: טריקו פוקס בע"מ). After having its IPO on TASE in 2002, the company became Fox-Wizel Ltd. Today, Fox is an international chain with stores in ten countries: Israel, Russia, Singapore, China, Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Thailand, Panama and the Philippines. In Fall 2008, Fox stores opened in Canada.
There are 200 retail shops in Israel, 8 in Russia, 18 in Singapore, 87 point-of-sale (PoS) in China, 5 in Bulgaria, 2 in Croatia, 21 in Romania, 32 PoS in Thailand, and 30 PoS in Panama, as well as other retailers, wholesalers and franchisers abroad.
Fox also has a joint partnership (50%) in Laline Candles & Soaps Ltd. which sells lotions, soaps, scented oils and candles. The company is headquartered in Ben Gurion International Airport, near Tel Aviv.
Wade Fox
Rufus Wade Fox, Jr. (June 2, 1920 – September 20, 1964), was an American zoologist and herpetologist from the University of California, Berkeley. He specialized in the anatomy of snakes and the systematics of the western garter snakes.
Biography
Wade Fox was born on June 2, 1920 in Hilton, Virginia.
He graduated from the University of North Carolina in 1943 and then earned a Master's (1946) and doctoral degree at the University of California, Berkeley, working as Curatorial Assistant of in the Museum of Vertebrate Zoology from 1943–1949, and earning a PhD under Robert C. Stebbins in 1950. His dissertation topic was "Biology of the Garter Snakes of the San Francisco Bay Region". Later he became president of Herpetologists' League and an editor of the journal Copeia.
He named several garter snake (Thamnophis) subspecies, including Thamnophis elegans terrestris, Thamnophis elegans aquaticus (now a synonym of T. atratus atratus) and Thamnophis sirtalis fitchi. He is commemorated in the name of the Fox's mountain meadow snake (Adelophis foxi).
Fox (crater)
Fox is a small lunar crater on the far side of the Moon. It lies near the northern rim of the crater Wyld, and to the southeast of Babcock. This crater is bowl-shaped, with a roughly circular rim, simple sloping walls and a relatively level, featureless interior. There is some talus along the northern inner wall.
Satellite craters
By convention these features are identified on lunar maps by placing the letter on the side of the crater midpoint that is closest to Fox.

Destiny?
Destiny? is the second studio album by the Canadian rock band Mystery. Released in 1998, it is the last Mystery album to feature Gary Savoie on lead vocals, as well as the first to feature Patrick Bourque as a member of the band on bass and Steve Gagné on drums. Destiny? was reissued in 2009 as a 10th anniversary edition with a new mix, a bonus track and new artwork.
Production
Background
Mystery's lineup changed drastically from their previous album, Theatre of the Mind, and had only two of the same members from that album. Bassist Richard Addison left the band in 1994 after finishing his parts for Theatre of the Mind and was replaced by Patrick Bourque, who played as a session musician on the album. Keyboardist Benoît Dupuis and acoustic guitarist and saxophonist Michel Painchaud left the band in 1995, leaving the band with four members. Then, drummer Stéphane Perreault left during the recording sessions for Destiny?. Gilles Peltier, the owner of a studio at which Mystery was recording knew Steve Gagné and suggested him as at least a temporary replacement for Perreault so the current album could be finished. Gagné was given three songs to learn in a short time frame and when his recording of the tracks was heard, it impressed Michel St-Père and Gary Savoie very much, leading Gagné to become a full time member of the band.
Destiny (Irene Adler)
Destiny (Irene Adler) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character is known as an adversary of the X-Men.
Although blind, Destiny was a mutant precognitive able to accurately predict future events.
Publication history
Created by writer Chris Claremont and artist/co-writer John Byrne, the character first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #141 (January 1981). She died in Uncanny X-Men #255 and was resurrected with a techno-organic virus during the 2009 Necrosha event. She filled several diaries with the future history of mutantkind, the search for which was a main storyline in the 2000s (decade) series X-Treme X-Men, years after Destiny died.
As far back as 1981, Claremont had intended Destiny to be the lover of Brotherhood of Mutants teammate Mystique, and had originally intended for Destiny and Mystique to be Nightcrawler's biological parents, with Mystique taking the form of a man for the conception. However, at that time, the Comics Code Authority and Marvel policy prohibited the explicit portrayal of gay or bisexual characters. Destiny was simply referred to as the only member of the new Brotherhood that Mystique saw as a friend; all the other members being male and prone to arguing amongst each other. Much later, the two were confirmed to have been a couple.

KITT
KITT is the short name of two fictional characters from the adventure TV series Knight Rider. While having the same acronym, the KITTs are two different entities: one known as the Knight Industries Two Thousand, which appeared in the original TV series Knight Rider, and the other as the Knight Industries Three Thousand, which appeared first in the two-hour 2008 pilot film for a new Knight Rider TV series and then the new series itself. In both instances, KITT is an artificially intelligent electronic computer module in the body of a highly advanced, very mobile, robotic automobile: the original KITT as a 1982 Pontiac Trans Am, and the second KITT as a 2008/2009 Ford Shelby GT500KR. KITT was voiced by William Daniels in the original series, and by Val Kilmer in the 2008 series.
History
In the television show's history, the first KITT (Knight Industries Two Thousand) was designed by the late Wilton Knight, a brilliant but eccentric billionaire and founder of the Foundation for Law And Government (FLAG) and its parent Knight Industries. The 2008 pilot movie later implied that Charles Graiman, creator of the Knight Industries Three Thousand, also had a hand in designing the first KITT.
