Derrick Sebagala

Derrick Ronald Sebagala (born 20 September 1984) in Kampala, Uganda is a professional IT Management Consultant, Entrepreneur and Businessman.

Biography

Early life

Derrick was born in Kampala, Uganda, to Godfrey and Rosemary Walusimbi, on September 20, 1984. He's the third of ten children, and the second eldest of five boys. Raised up as a humble child, he attended Budo Junior School for his Primary Leaving Education from 1990 to 1996, and Kitante Hill Secondary School for Ordinary and Advanced level education from 1997 to 2002. After choosing a path in Information Technology as his calling, he later obtained a Bachelor of Computer Information Systems from California State University, Chico in 2005. Through his information technology career, Derrick has achieved certifications like Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft Corporation, and Adobe Certified Professional from Adobe Systems Inc.

Career

January 2012 - present

Derrick is a director and a founding partner for the international trade and financial consulting firm - PanCorp Group, a private, specialised commodity trade and finance advisory group providing services mainly within the borders of Africa but with offices in Georgia - USA, Accra - Ghana, Kampala - Uganda and Freetown - Sierra Leone. Major areas of focus encompass: Debt/Equity Funding arrangements, Structured Transactions, Investment Partnerships, trade in Oil & Petroleum Products, Precious Metals & Minerals and Agricultural Produce.
