Law & Order: Criminal Intent (season 7)

The seventh season of Law & Order: Criminal Intent premiered on USA Network on October 4, 2007, and ended on August 24, 2008.

The first ten episodes of the seventh season aired on Thursday night's at 10:00PM/9:00PM (Central), filling a slot previously occupied by the first season of Burn Notice. The season then took a "fall finale" with the episode "Senseless," coinciding with the 2007 Writers Guild of America strike where show runner/executive producer Warren Leight and the rest of the writing staff participated in the work stoppage; the first ten episodes of the season being the only ones produced. The remaining twelve episodes resumed airing Sunday night's at 9:00PM/8:00PM (Central) leading in In Plain Sight starting June 8, 2008.

Network change and production

During the 2006-2007 network TV season, both Law & Order: Criminal Intent and the original Law & Order series began to falter in the ratings on NBC; president at the time Jeff Zucker was in a telephone interview with creator Dick Wolf when he renewed both series, Mr. Zucker said the plan to move original episodes of Criminal Intent to USA Network, with the repeats then set to play "shortly thereafter" on NBC, represented "a new paradigm for network TV." Wolf said he was thrilled with the deal because "my stated goal has been to keep all three shows (L&O, CI, & SVU) up and running." Both the original series and Criminal Intent won full 22-episode orders, although most series for cable channels do not produce more than 13. Mr. Wolf said that he had found some budgetary savings to make the deal more viable, but that "none of them are going to be apparent to viewers."

Depths (novel)

Depths (original title: Djup) is a 2004 novel by Swedish writer Henning Mankell.

Set in 1914 and 1915, the novel concerns a naval engineer Lars Tobiasson-Svartman, on board the Swedish navy's Coast Defence Ship Svea, undertaking a covert mission to find and chart navigable channels through the Stockholm archipelago. During the voyage Svartman alights on a barren skerry, and discovers a young woman there, Sara. Despite her feral nature, something about her strikes him to his core and, even when he has returned to Stockholm and his wife Kristina, he finds himself compelled to go back to the island.

Ever since his childhood Svartman has been obsessed by exactness in the measurement of time or distance. He seeks solace through secretly observing or following people, and at night overcomes fear by cradling his most precious possession, his sounding lead. Svartman's obsessions and growing distrust of others leads him to submerge himself in a web of deceit involving his employer, Kristina and Sara which increasingly threatens to engulf him.

"Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)" is a song by American rapper Rich Homie Quan. It was released on February 10, 2015, as a single from his mixtape If You Ever Think I Will Stop Goin' in Ask RR (Royal Rich) (2015) & his Album Rich As In Spirit (2016). The track was produced by Nitti Beatz, DJ Spinz and mixed by Ray Seay and Justin Childs.

Commercial performance

The song has peaked at number 26 on the US Billboard Hot 100. To date, this is Rich Homie Quan's highest charting single as a solo artist. As of August 2015, "Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)" has sold 425,000 copies domestically. In October, the single was certified platinum and reached #1 on Urban Radio.

Music video

A music video for "Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)" was released on April 1, 2015. It was directed by Be El Be. The video is notable for its high levels of stunting and also serves as the preeminent example of "hitting the Quan."

Flex (club)

Flex is a nightclub in Vienna. It is located between underground station Schottenring and Augartenbrücke. Many international and Austrian music acts and DJs, such as Pete Doherty, Juliette and the Licks and Arcade Fire, have performed in Flex. There have been hundreds of visits from drum and bass DJs like: Pendulum, High Contrast, DJ Marky, Aphrodite, Patifee, DJ Hype, Logistics, Leopoi, and others.
