This Is How the Wind Shifts

This Is How the Wind Shifts is the seventh studio album by Canadian post-hardcore band Silverstein, released on February 5, 2013 through Hopeless Records.

It is the first album to not feature long time lead guitarist Neil Boshart and first to include new guitarist Paul-Marc Rousseau.

Background and recording

Silverstein announced they had signed with Hopeless on November 15, 2010. Vocalist Shane Told said the band have been "huge fans of the label since their inception". Hopeless released the band's Rescue (2011) album in April 2011 and Short Songs (2012) album in February 2012. In mid-to-late August, the band went on the Short Songs, Short Tour; the last tour they would go on before starting to work on a new album. In late September, the band announced that guitarist Neil Boshart hasn't been in the band for the preceding month and was replaced by Paul Marc Rousseau, who has previously worked for the band.This Is How the Wind Shifts was recorded at Sundown Studios in Guelph, Ontario, Canada with producer Jordan Valeriote. Valeriote also engineered and mixed the album. It was mastered by Troy Glessener at Spectre Mastering.

Departures (album)

Departures is the second solo album by Australian musician Bernard Fanning, a followup to his 2005 #1 Australian charting album Tea & Sympathy, and the first since Fanning's band Powderfinger was disbanded in 2011. The album was released on 7 June 2013. The album heralds a departure from Fanning's debut 2005 effort of folk and roots in favour of a rock sound, more akin to his Powderfinger origins.

Departures debuted at number one on the ARIA Albums Chart dated 17 June 2013, becoming Fanning's second number-one album as a solo artist.

Departures (Turkish: Kavuşma) is a 2011 Turkish short film directed by Ali Y. Akarçeşme. The film is twelve minutes long and is about immigration to the United States from Turkey. In order to raise funds for the film, Akarçeşme held a successful Kickstarter campaign that raised $2,665.Departures was named Best Drama at the Brownfish Short Film Festival in New York City in 2011. And he won the Best Director Award at NY ITN Distribution Film Festival. These awards were the first Akarçeşme received while living in the United States. In 2012, the film was screened at New York's Rushes Soho Shorts Film Festival and the Love Your Shorts Film Festival and competed in the Boston Turkish Film Festival. The film also had official selections in various festivals such as NY Soho International, New Hope, Spain's Renderyard, Buffalo Niagara, NJ's Garden State and more.

Rabbit

Rabbits are small mammals in the family Leporidae of the order Lagomorpha, found in several parts of the world. There are eight different genera in the family classified as rabbits, including the European rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus), cottontail rabbits (genus Sylvilagus; 13 species), and the Amami rabbit (Pentalagus furnessi, an endangered species on Amami Ōshima, Japan). There are many other species of rabbit, and these, along with pikas and hares, make up the order Lagomorpha. The male is called a buck and the female is a doe; a young rabbit is a kitten or kit.

Habitat and range

Rabbit habitats, or "rabbitats", include meadows, woods, forests, grasslands, deserts and wetlands. Rabbits live in groups, and the best known species, the European rabbit, lives in underground burrows, or rabbit holes. A group of burrows is called a warren.

More than half the world's rabbit population resides in North America. They are also native to southwestern Europe, Southeast Asia, Sumatra, some islands of Japan, and in parts of Africa and South America. They are not naturally found in most of Eurasia, where a number of species of hares are present. Rabbits first entered South America relatively recently, as part of the Great American Interchange. Much of the continent has just one species of rabbit, the tapeti, while most of South America's southern cone is without rabbits.

Not Going Out

Not Going Out is a British television sitcom that has aired on BBC One since 2006, currently starring Lee Mack, Sally Bretton and Katy Wix. The series has previously starred Tim Vine and Megan Dodds. Recurring roles throughout the series have been portrayed by Miranda Hart, Simon Dutton, Geoffrey Whitehead, Deborah Grant, Bobby Ball, Hugh Dennis, and Abigail Cruttenden. Mack and Andrew Collins were the initial writers for the show, with Paul Kerensa, Simon Evans and Daniel Peak joining the writing staff in later series.

The show was originally cancelled by the BBC in 2009, whilst the third series was still airing – but the decision was later reversed due to a combination of strong DVD sales, and an online petition leading to the show receiving a renewal for a fourth series, which aired from 6 January 2011. A fifth series began airing from 13 April 2012. A sixth series began airing from 5 April 2013, with a Christmas special following later that year. A seventh series comprising ten episodes began airing on 17 October 2014 and ended with a Christmas special on 24 December. A further Christmas special was aired on 24 December 2015.

Rabbit (Japanese band)

Rabbit is a Japanese band that was formed in 2012. Its line-up consists of Ai Otsuka (vocals, chorus), Toshiyuki Mori (keyboard), Watusi (bass guitar), Taiji Satou (guitar, vocals, and chorus), Takashi Numazawa (drums), and Sasuga Minami (chorus, motion). The band made its debut with their studio album Rabito (裸人, lit. Naked People), which was released on 12 December 2012 and peaked at No. 61 on the Japanese Oricon weekly album chart. The album includes a version of the song "Moonlight", which was originally on Ai Otsuka's mini-album Love It.
