MindTouch

MindTouch is a commercial, cloud-delivered web platform for knowledge collaboration and multi-channel delivery of customer support documentation. It is produced by MindTouch, Inc., an American company based in San Diego, California.

MindTouch 4

MindTouch 4 is the current major version of the software service. MindTouch 4 powers customer support websites that provide customers with content, such as articles and videos, to learn more about an enterprise's products and resolve issues they may be having with them. The software also attempts to dissuade customers from filing support tickets by guiding customers to the most relevant content on the site. MindTouch is considered a "multi-channel" platform, since content can not only be consumed on MindTouch powered websites, but also in other sites and services via a RESTful API and embedded contextual help system.

CRM integration

Integration partnerships with CRM vendors such as SAP and Salesforce.com provide support agents the ability to use MindTouch content in their customer support workflows.

Meitetsu DeKi 600

The Meitetsu DeKi 600 (名鉄デキ600形, Meitetsu Deki 600-gata) was a Bo-Bo wheel arrangement electric locomotive type operated by private railway operator Nagoya Railroad (Meitetsu) in Japan from 1943 until 2015.

Operations

Originally used to haul freight trains, they were later used primarily on track maintenance trains and rolling stock transfer duties. As of 1 April 2015, all four locomotives were still in service, but the locomotives were withdrawn and cut up during fiscal 2015 following the introduction of new Class EL120 locomotives. Locomotives 601 and 602 were normally based at Inuyama Depot, and 603 and 604 were normally based at Shinkawa Depot.

History

The four locomotives were built by Toshiba between 1943 and 1945.

Locomotives DeKi 603 and 604 were originally built as locomotive numbers E401 and E402 for use on the Japanese-occupied island of Hainan during World War II, but were ultimately not able to be shipped abroad, and were instead purchased by Meitetsu.

Originally painted in black with yellow and black chevrons at the ends, the locomotives were repainted into "Meitetsu Blue" when they underwent life extension refurbishment in 1992.

Meitetsu DeKi 400

The Meitetsu DeKi 400 (名鉄デキ400形, Meitetsu Deki 400-gata) is a Bo-Bo wheel arrangement electric locomotive type operated by private railway operator Nagoya Railroad (Meitetsu) in Japan.

Originally used to haul freight trains on the eastern end of the Meitetsu Nagoya Main Line and Meitetsu Mikawa Line, they are now used primarily on track maintenance trains and rolling stock transfer duties. As of 1 April 2014, both locomotives are in service.

History

The two locomotives were built in 1930 and 1931 for the Aichi Electric Railroad, numbered DeKi 400 and DeKi 401. The locomotive bodies were built by Nippon Sharyo of Japan, and the electrical equipment was built by the American company Westinghouse Electric Company. When the Aichi Electric Railroad was absorbed into Meitetsu, the two locomotives retained their original DeKi 400 classification, but locomotive number DeKi 400 was renumbered DeKi 402.

Originally painted in black, the locomotives were repainted into "Meitetsu Blue" when they underwent life extension refurbishment in 1993. The locomotives were originally fitted with two large Westinghouse pantographs, but these were subsequently replaced by single PT42-F lozenge-type pantographs.
