Maan (TV series)

Maan (Urdu: مان‎ ; lit. Proud) is a Pakistani family drama serial that premiered on Hum TV on October 19, 2015, airing a weekly episode on Mondays. Due to drama serial Mann Mayal, The drama is airing on Fridays instead of Mondays from 29 January 2016. It is directed by Amin Iqbal and written by Shehla Shakoor. Drama serial is produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi of 7th Sky Productions and Meekal Zulfiqar who also served as the head of the project and Hira Anwar of Hum TV.

Meekal Zulfiqar and Kiran Haq star as parents of two girls and the younger girl has a heart problem. They are facing financial problems and don't have enough money to do the surgery of their younger girl, which lead their family to destruction. Maha Warsi portrays a villainous role while Seemi Raheel stars as a mother of Zulfiqar and Saleem Sheikh as his brother.

Maan clan

Maan or Mann are a clan of the Jat people found in Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. They are considered to be the brethren of the Heer or Hayer and Bhullar gotras. The Maan clan originates from the village of Saloudi in the Khanna district of Punjab. The clan holds much power in political and social matters in that region. There are many notable people who are members of the Maan clan, including the famous Punjabi singers: Gurdas Maan, Harbhajan Maan, Babbu Maan, and Sherry Maan. The popular comedian-turned-politician Bhagwant Maan is also a member of this powerful clan.

Maan (Marathi: माण) is not a city name.Dahiwadi taluka is called as Maan taluka because land type of that region is Maan.Sub division dahiwadi is in Satara district of Maharashtra in India.

Geography

Maan (Dahiwadi) taluka is one of the important taluka of Satara District. Maan is located at Dahivadi (Maan T; 17° 40' N, 74° 30' E; RS Koreganv 28 m. W; p. 4,057) lies on the right bank of the Maan on the Pusesavali-Shingnapur road, forty miles east of Satara and about four miles (6 km) from the junction of the above mentioned road with the Satara Pandharpur road. The river banks are low and the village is spread along the sides for about a quarter of a mile. The total geographical area of the taluka is 556 square miles (1,440 km²). India's big politicians are always visit this taluka.but the problems of water, road, electricity are not solved yet.

The fort Vardhangad can be reached from Satara also.

Day (automobile)

The Day Utility was an automobile manufactured in Detroit, Michigan by the Day Automobile Company from 1911-14. The Day used a four-cylinder, 30 horsepower (22 kW) engine and shaft drive. Removal of the rear seat and doors allowed the car to be converted from a five-seater touring car to a light truck in one minute. As a truck, the Day was able to carry up to 1,000 lb (450 kg) in a 36-inch (910 mm) by 96-inch (2,400 mm) cargo space. The rear seat could be lifted away by triggering two spring locks. The Day had an advertised price of $950US.

Day (Wiesel novel)

Day, published in 1962, is the third book in a trilogy by Elie Wiesel—Night, Dawn, and Day—describing his experiences and thoughts during and after the Holocaust.
