Deal is a borough in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 Census, the borough's population was 750, reflecting a decline of 320 (-29.9%) from the 1,070 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn declined by 109 (-9.2%) from the 1,179 counted in the 1990 Census.
A group from Rhode Island settled in the area of Middletown Township and Shrewsbury Township in the mid-1660s, after having purchased what was known as the Monmouth Patent. Thomas Whyte, an English carpenter from the shore-side community of Deal, Kent, acquired 500 acres (200 ha) in Shrewsbury Township along the shore that became known as "Deal", from the name of the English town. Present-day Norwood Avenue dates back to the early 18th century construction of the Long Branch-Deal Turnpike.
Deal was incorporated as a borough on March 7, 1898, by an act of the New Jersey Legislature, from portions of Ocean Township.
Deal boasts a significant population of Orthodox Sephardic Jews, mainly of Syrian extraction. In the 2000 Census, 16.4% of Deal residents identified as being of Syrian heritage, the greatest percentage of Syrian Americans in any municipality in the country. As much as 80% of Deal's population are Sephardi Jews, and the population swells to over 6,000 during the summer, many of them Syrian Jews.

Vaa Deal is an upcoming Tamil action masala film directed and written by Shiva Gnanam. It features Arun Vijay and Karthika Nair in the lead roles. The film has music by Thaman.
The collaboration between Arun Vijay and debutant director Siva Gnanam was announced in August 2012 and Karthika Nair was signed for the film in September 2012. The initial shoot took place in Pazhani later that month.
The first schedule of the film was held in Theni in October 2012. The climax shoot in March 2013 was scheduled to take place in a set worth 60 lakhs erected in Saidapet, Chennai but was postponed to avoid disruption to school exams. Thus the team relocated and began filming again in Pondicherry. In January 2014, film's title was changed from Deal to Vaa Deal.

Deal is the Greek version of Deal or No Deal. It airs on ANT1 and it broadcast in the 2006 spring. It is hosted by Costas Karistinos, who also hosts the Greek version of Fort Boyard on Star Channel. There are 22 boxes held by 22 potential contestants coming from various Greek prefectures. Each episode ultimately features one contestant.
During the first round, players answer a multiple choice question and the day's contestant is selected randomly among those who answered correctly. The monetary prizes range from €0.01 to €200,000, but only half of the prize is given to the contestant. The other half is given to a viewer that has participated in a text message contest going on during the broadcast. Usually, three of the boxes contain items of little value (such as a brick, an umbrella, or a souvlaki) Sometimes, the Banker offers a case exchange instead of cash.
A player won the top prize after refusing the offer of €45,500. The show ended in February 2008, before returning on October 2010.
