123Klan

123Klan is a French graffiti crew, founded in 1992 by husband and wife Scien and Klor. Since 1994 the crew have also worked in graphic design, inspired by the work of Neville Brody, and started to apply it to their graffiti (and vice versa). They describe their art as ‘when street knowledge meets technology and graffiti melds with graphic design’. Dean, Sper, Skam, Meric, and Reso 1 are the other crew members.

Now based in Montréal, Canada, 123Klan's studio specializes in character illustration, branding and toy design.

They have had exhibitions worldwide, including Lille, Dunkerque, Toulouse, Strasbourg, Paris, Brussels, London, Eindhoven, Roma, Munich, Barcelona, New York City, Singapore, and Zurich.

"Heroes" (David Bowie album)

"Heroes" is the twelfth studio album by David Bowie, released in 1977. The second installment of his Berlin Trilogy with Brian Eno (the other releases being Low and Lodger) "Heroes" further developed the sound of Low and featured the contributions of guitarist Robert Fripp, who flew in from the US to record his parts in one day. Of the three albums, it was the only one wholly recorded in Berlin. The title track remains one of Bowie's best known, and the album has received lasting critical acclaim as one of his best recordings. It was named NME Album of the Year.

Production and style

Recorded at Hansa Tonstudio in what was then West Berlin, "Heroes" reflected the zeitgeist of the Cold War, symbolised by the divided city. Co-producer Tony Visconti considered it "one of my last great adventures in making albums. The studio was about 500 yards from the wall. Red Guards would look into our control-room window with powerful binoculars." David Bowie again paid tribute to his Krautrock influences: the title is a nod to the track "Hero" on the album Neu! '75 by the German band Neu! – whose guitarist Michael Rother had originally been approached to play on the album – while "V-2 Schneider" is inspired by and named after Kraftwerk's Florian Schneider. Earlier in 1977, Kraftwerk had name-checked Bowie on the title track of Trans-Europe Express. The cover photo by Masayoshi Sukita was inspired by German artist Erich Heckel's Roquairol.

Héroes (Chilean miniseries)

Héroes (full name: Héroes, la gloria tiene su precio, "Heroes, glory has its price" in Spanish) is a Chilean TV miniseries produced by Canal 13 in 2007.

Héroes has 6 episodes. Each one of them relates the history of one of the principal figures of the Chilean history in the 19th century: Bernardo O'Higgins, José Miguel Carrera, Manuel Rodríguez, Diego Portales, José Manuel Balmaceda and Arturo Prat. The miniseries is one of the most ambitious project of Canal 13 for the commemoration of the bicentenary of the independence of Chile, in 2010.

The miniseries has the support of the Ministry of Education and the Chilean Army.

Episodes

"O'Higgins, vivir para merecer su nombre"

The film is set during 1817 to 1823, on the events of the Patria Nueva, but it has some flashbacks when O'Higgins was a kid (years unrevealed) and when he was learning who his father (Ambrosio O'Higgins) was. Its main plot surrounds the events of his governments, and the changes on his popularity among the people.

Heroes (Shinedown song)

"Heroes" is the third single from Shinedown's second album, Us and Them. It reached number 4 on the U.S. Mainstream Rock chart and number 28 on the U.S. Modern Rock chart. As with the preceding single, "I Dare You", no music video was made for promotion.

There is a line in the second verse that goes "You can put a man on trial, but you can't make the guilty pay". This line first came from the title song of the 2009 deluxe re-release of Leave a Whisper. Despite it being released later than "Heroes", it was written before "Heroes" was.

The second season of Law & Order: Criminal Intent premiered September 29, 2002 and ended May 18, 2003 on NBC.

Production

Law & Order: Criminal Intent was renewed a second season in May 2002 and production began in Summer 2002. Show runner/executive producer René Balcer became head writer this season, writing every episode of the season.

Peter Jankowski was promoted to executive producer this season; last season Jankowski was a co-executive producer. Co-executive producers this season were Fred Berner, Arthur W. Forney, and Theresa Rebeck with John L. Roman and Michael Kewley serving as producers. Supervising producers were Roz Weinman and Marlane Gomard Meyer. Original Law & Order writer and co-executive producer at the time, Michael S. Chernuchin was consulting producer and Tim DeLuca as associate producer. Mary Rae Thewlis became co-producer starting with the 6th episode, "Malignant". Warren Leight, who later became co-executive producer and then show runner/executive producer, began as a producer with the 10th episode, "Con-Text". Balcer hired Leight from a recommendation by co-executive producer, Theresa Rebeck.

Per "Dead" Ohlin

Per Yngve Ohlin (16 January 1969 – 8 April 1991), better known by his stage name Dead, was a Swedish black/death metal vocalist and lyricist best known for his work with Norwegian black metal band Mayhem. He also performed as vocalist of the Swedish death metal band Morbid on their demo December Moon.

Roadrunner Records ranked him No. 48 out of 50 of The Greatest Metal Front-Men of All Time.

Early life

Per Ohlin (sometimes called "Pelle") was born in 1969 in Stockholm, Sweden. As a young child, he suffered from sleep apnea. At the age of ten, he suffered internal bleeding when his spleen ruptured, after what he alleged was an ice skating accident. In the Swedish metal book Blod eld död however ('Blood Fire Death', named after Swedish band Bathory's fourth album Blood Fire Death), his brother said in an exclusive interview that Dead was bullied in school and one day the beatings got out of hand causing the ruptured spleen. He had to be rushed to a hospital, where he was for a time clinically dead.

Dead@17 is a series formerly published by Viper Comics. The latest mini-series is being published by Image Comics. It was created by Josh Howard and focuses on a girl, Nara Kilday, who is killed and then reborn to fight demons.

Nara Kilday is killed, and finds herself mysteriously revived. She discovers she has to prevent the coming of Bolabogg, a demonic lord. This series also introduces Hazy Foss, her best friend, and Elijah, a friend of the two girls who Nara has a crush on. The mysterious Noel appears, who helps the three fight hordes of undead and other monstrosities. Nara banishes Bolabogg back to his realm.
