"Daylight in Your Eyes" is the debut song by all-female German pop group No Angels. It was written by Tony Bruno and Tommy Byrnes and initially recorded by American rock band New Life Crisis. Their version appeared on MTV's Party to Go Remixed compilation, released in 2001, but as their record company, Tommy Boy Entertainment, folded soon after, their original recording failed to receive a wider release, and the song was eventually sold separately abroad. There it was re-recorded by Columbian pop singer Victoria Faiella for her Epic Records debut.
In 2001, Faiella's producer Peter Plate offered the newly created pop group No Angels to re-record "Daylight in Your Eyes" for their debut studio album Elle'ments (2001) following their participation in the first installment of the German adaption of the reality television program Popstars. Released as the band's debut single on February 5, 2001 in German-speaking Europe and the following months in the United Kingdom and the United States, the single became a major international hit, reaching number-one in Austria, Estonia, Germany, and Switzerland, making it the No Angels' most successful single release to date.
...In Your Eyes is Mary MacGregor's second album. It is out of print and has never been issued on CD.

Nutshell were a British Christian musical group, active from the early 1970s up to 1981.
The band were originally called 'Jesus Revolution', and the members were Paul Field, Heather Barlow and Pam Thiele (née May). They had changed the name by the time of their first release, In Your Eyes (1976). The following year they released their second LP, Flyaway (1977).
After the second LP had been released Barlow and Thiele left the group, and Field began with two new female vocalists, Annie McCaig and Mo McCafferty. They released two further LPs, Begin Again (1978) and Believe it or Not (1979). After the release of Believe it or Not, the band changed its name to Network 3 and released two singles, "Last Train Home" (1980) and "Dangerous Game" (1981), both of which were produced by Cliff Richard and featured his backing vocals.
The band broke up after this, and a Best of Nutshell LP was released in 1981.
Whilst Barlow and Thiele left the music business, Field built up a successful career as a solo singer, songwriter and producer. McCaig and McCafferty also remained in the music business, providing backing vocals for numerous artists.

Wanna know you better
Wanna push you baby
But never too far
Wanna show you heaven
Wanna be like you
Just as strong as you are
I wanna be daylight in your eyes
I wanna be sunlight only warmer
I wanna be daylight in your eyes
I wanna be love only stronger
I wanna be daylight
Wanna live forever
Wanna touch your hand and explode like a star
Wanna stand beside you
Always be together wherever you are
I wanna be daylight in your eyes
I wanna be sunlight only warmer
I wanna be daylight in your eyes
I wanna be love only stronger
I wanna be daylight in your eyes
I wanna be sunlight only warmer
I wanna be daylight
Wanna know you better
Wanna push you baby
But never too far
Wanna live forever
Wanna be like you just as weak as you are
Weak as you are
I wanna be daylight in your eyes
I wanna be sunlight only warmer
I wanna be daylight in your eyes
I wanna be love only stronger
I wanna be daylight in your eyes
I wanna be sunlight only warmer
I wanna be daylight
Daylight
I see it in your eyes
Daylight
I wanna be just you and me
Warmer than sunlight
Daylight in your eyes
In your eyes
In your eyes
I wanna be daylight in your eyes
I wanna be sunlight only warmer
I wanna be daylight in your eyes
I wanna be love only stronger
I wanna be daylight in your eyes
I wanna be sunlight only warmer
I wanna be daylight
Daylight
