DAS (ダスッ！, Dasu!) is a Japanese adult video (AV) production company located in Tokyo, Japan.

Company information

DAS is part of Japan's largest group of AV companies, the Hokuto Corporation, located in Ebisu, Tokyo. DAS specializes in simulated rape, bukkake, nakadashi (creampie) and humiliation videos using well-known actresses. The company was founded in 2007 and released its first four videos on April 25, 2007. These videos starred Maria Ozawa, Rin Suzuka, Reina Matsushima and Rin Aoki, four actresses who moved to the new company from another Hokuto Corporation company, S1 No. 1 Style.

DAS releases a total of about four original and compilation videos per month. The studio uses product codes beginning with "DASD" for their original videos and "DAZD" for compilation works. As of April 2014, the latest videos were DASD-250 and DAZD-057. The DMM website, the distribution arm for companies in the Hokuto Corporation, listed more than 200 DVDs under the DAS studio name in September 2011. The company also releases videos in the Blu-ray format. In March 2010 DAS announced the debut of a new label "Platinum" (プラチナ, Purachina).

Dus

Dus (Hindi: दस, translation: Ten) is a 2005 Bollywood action spy thriller film based on the Indian Special Investigation Team (SIT) Officers. The film is directed by Anubhav Sinha and produced by Nitin Manmohan. It stars Sanjay Dutt, Sunil Shetty, Abhishek Bachchan, Shilpa Shetty, Zayed Khan and Esha Deol in lead roles. The film is a tribute to celebrated director Mukul S. Anand, who had died while filming the 1997 incomplete film of the same name, and which had also starred Sanjay Dutt in the lead role. The film was commercial and critical success at the Indian Box Office.

The film follows the head of the ATC, played by Dutt, and his team, as they embark on a mission to prevent a deadly terrorist attack orchestrated by an international terrorist and criminal, Jamwaal with only 7 days to do so. The incident was to take place on 10 May, thus explaining the name of the film.

Plot

In the opening scene, Siddhant Dheer (Sanjay Dutt), the head of the Anti-Terrorist Cell (a fictitious organisation), narrates how rampant terrorism has become in the world and goes on to tell the story of 7 of the hardest days in his life.

Das Island

Das Island is an Emirati island in the Persian Gulf. It is part of the emirate of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates but lies well offshore, about 100 miles (160 km) north-west of the mainland. It covers approximately 0.75 miles (1.21 km) by 1.5 miles (2.4 km), and is almost rectangular in shape.

Das Island is inhabited by oil and gas industry personnel. It exports crude oil and liquefied natural gas by tankers as far as Japan and Europe. Oil production began after prospecting during 1956-1960 by Abu Dhabi Marine Areas (ADMA), a joint venture between British Petroleum and Compagnie Française des Pétroles (later known as Total). Local exporting companies include ADMA-OPCO (Oil), ADGAS (LNG) and other companies.

Das Island was formerly a noted breeding site for turtles and seabirds. Despite oil and gas production, turtles still feed safely in the area and Das Island has remained an important landfall for migrant birds.

Rheumatoid arthritis

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a long lasting autoimmune disorder that primarily affects joints. It typically results in warm, swollen, and painful joints. Pain and stiffness often worsen following rest. Most commonly, the wrist and hands are involved, with the same joints typically involved on both sides of the body. While the cause of rheumatoid arthritis is not clear, it is believed to involve a combination of genetic and environmental factors. The underlying mechanism involves the body's immune system attacking the joints. This results in inflammation and thickening of the joint capsule. It also affects the underlying bone and cartilage. The diagnosis is made mostly on the basis of a person's signs and symptoms.X-rays and laboratory testing may support a diagnosis or exclude other diseases with similar symptoms. Other diseases that may present similarly include systemic lupus erythematosus, psoriatic arthritis, and fibromyalgia among others.

Studio (TV channel)

STUDIO was a subscription television arts channels available in Australia on the FOXTEL and AUSTAR platforms.

The channel launched in April 2010 as STVDIO, and is owned and operated by SBS Subscription TV, a subsidiary of free-to-air broadcaster Special Broadcasting Service.

STUDIO is Australia's only channel dedicated to the arts and entertainment and themed nights. It shows classical and popular music, literature, film, visual arts and dance with documentaries and performances.

As part of a brand redesign in March 2012, the channel was renamed to STUDIO, suggested to be a more accessible name.

The channel was forced into closure on 27 March 2015 as they were unable to re-negotiate their contract with Foxtel, and was instead replaced with Foxtel-owned channel Foxtel Arts. As a result, a number of the channel's arts programming moved to SBS and its video on demand service.

Local Australian Productions

The channel also records live local music, theatre and dance productions, known as the STUDIO Season Ticket.

Studio (also known as Studio.co.uk) is part of a multi-brand retailing company in the United Kingdom, which specialises in home shopping services. Based in Accrington in Lancashire, Studio is the online sector of Studio (formerly known as Studio Cards and Gifts). Currently, Studio produces 100 different publications, and mails over 63 million catalogues in a calendar year. Their customer base of 1.2 million people is geographically spread across the UK, with the highest concentration of customers residing in city areas. 89% of Studio’s customer base is female.

Due to Studio’s Autumn Winter catalogue being their biggest publication of the year and containing a high proportion of Christmas products, much of the company’s business is undertaken in the final third of the year.

Studio is owned by Findel plc Findel plc.; a British home shopping company based in West Yorkshire.

History

Founded in Preston in 1962, Studio originally specialised in paper products, such as greetings cards, and sold them through a mail order catalogue. Over time, the company expanded, and in 1974 they bought a company called Ace, selling a similar product range to that of Studio.

Design
