Danny Moore

Danny Moore (born 2 November 1971 in Townsville, Queensland) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer of the 1990s and 2000s. An Australian international and Queensland State of Origin representative who played most of his career either at centre or on the wing, he played his club football in Australia for the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles (with whom he won the 1996 ARL premiership) and North Queensland Cowboys. He also played in England for the Wigan Warriors (with whom he won 1998's Super League III) and the London Broncos.

Playing career

1990s

A Townsville junior, Moore's early career was played in the back row. He joined the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles as a lock forward where he made his first grade debut in the round 7 clash of the 1991 NSWRL season against the Parramatta Eels at Brookvale Oval, playing from the bench in Manly's 30-18 win. After spending the rest of the 1991 and all of 1992 playing in Reserve Grade, he was switched to the centres at the start of the 1993 NSWRFL season and became a regular first grader.

    • Will moves from a private school to a local sixth form comprehensive school because his mother, Polly, can no longer afford the private school fees. On moving to the new school, Simon, Neil and Jay reluctantly become Will's friends after initially trying to avoid him. The group warm to him after several efforts to win their friendship – including successfully buying alcohol and almost having sex with the school's most attractive girl. He is an unconventional hero - although he is generally the wittiest and most level-headed of the group, he is prone to making bad choices and outrageous remarks. He is generally sophisticated, sensible and possesses intelligence that surpasses that of his friends. Another dominant characteristic is his tendency to deliver sarcastic, dry humorous remarks, some of which get him into trouble. Will also appears to follow certain ethical laws, though is not above occasionally committing dubious acts, such as purchasing alcohol illegally, insulting Neil's father while intoxicated, accidentally insulting people who are disabled, among others.

    Danny!

    Danny Swain, better known by his mononymous stage name Danny! (/ˈdæniˈ/ dan-EE), is an American recording artist and record producer.

    Danny! is a former student of the Savannah College of Art & Design; he often wears a wool necktie and an Australian rounded crown boss-of-the-plains hat, and has gained notoriety for prank-calling celebrities. Danny! rose to prominence shortly following the proclamation by The Roots drummer Questlove that there was strong interest from JAY Z; he was subsequently signed as the flagship artist to Questlove's re-launched Okayplayer Records after years of being loosely affiliated with the company. In support of the new venture Danny! made his television debut on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, premiering his song "Evil" alongside The Roots.

    Danny! would field praise for his concept records Charm and And I Love H.E.R., the latter named by ABC News as one of the best 50 albums released that year, before releasing the "anti-album" Where Is Danny?. After signing to Okayplayer Records in late 2012 Danny! completed his trilogy of conceptual albums with Payback, cited by Allmusic as one of the best hip-hop releases of the year. Ebony Magazine has listed Danny! among other rising artists in their "Leaders of the New School" piece, calling Danny! one of a handful of "innovators";GQ would later reiterate the same regarding Danny!'s music production. Currently Danny! is a songwriter/composer for Extreme Music, the production library music subsidiary of Sony/ATV Music Publishing.

    Danny (TV series)

    Danny is an American television sitcom that aired on CBS. The series was created, executive produced and starred Daniel Stern.

    It was one of the last comedies to aired to air on CBS's Friday night lineup airing along with The Ellen Show which premiered at the same time. The series premiered on September 28, 2001 and was canceled on October 5, 2001 after only two episodes aired, making it the first series to be canceled in the 2001 Fall TV season.

    Premise

    Danny is recently separated father struggling to raise his two teenage kids. Despite just turning 40, He still wants to pursue his lifelong dreams all while running the town's local community center.
