Danny McBride

Daniel Richard "Danny" McBride (born December 29, 1976) is an American actor, producer, screenwriter and stand-up comedian. He co-created and starred in the sports sitcom Eastbound & Down (2009–2013). He also starred in comedy films, such as Pineapple Express (2008), Tropic Thunder (2008), Your Highness (2011) and This Is The End (2013).

Personal life

McBride was born in Statesboro, Georgia. His mother, Kathy Rudy, and his stepfather both work at Marine Corps Base Quantico as civilian support. On his father's side, McBride has ancestors from County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. His mother performed sermons in church using puppets, and McBride stated that his "interest in telling stories comes from her". He was raised in Spotsylvania County, Virginia, where he graduated from Courtland High School and attended North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

McBride married Gia Ruiz in October 2010, at the Colony Palms Hotel in Palm Springs, California, and they have a son named Declan who was born in 2011.
