Danny Care

Daniel Care (born 2 January 1987) is an English rugby union player who plays for Harlequins in the Aviva Premiership, primarily playing at Scrum-half but he can also operate in the Fly-half role.

Care is a full England international and has also represented England Sevens and England Saxons.

Early career

Born 2 January 1987 in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England.

Danny Care first played rugby union at age 6 with his local club in Leeds, West Park Bramhope RUFC (now called West Park Leeds RUFC), although his first love was football. At age 11 he was invited to join the Academy at Sheffield Wednesday Football Club which meant giving up club rugby although he was able to continue playing the game at Prince Henry's Grammar School in Otley.

He helped Prince Henry's win the Under-13 Yorkshire Cup in 2000 but he missed almost all of the next season recovering from a broken leg sustained in a school game.

The following season he was forced to choose between football and rugby union and he asked Sheffield Wednesday to release him from his Academy contract so that he could concentrate on rugby and by the end of the season he had been selected for Yorkshire Schools' Under-15 games. This was his first taste of representative rugby which included a man-of-the-match performance in the Roses game against Lancashire at Pontefract. In May 2002 he was part of the West Yorkshire team that won the inaugural Under-15 National 10-a-side Festival with the final being played in the Commonwealth Games stadium in Manchester.

Early life

In 1993, Care graduated from McIntosh High School where he was part of the 1992 Georgia State High School championship soccer team. He played his club soccer with the Fayette Lightning which also won the 1991, 1992 and 1993 Georgia State championship. He was a 1992 and 1993 NSCAA High School All American soccer player. Care attended the Clemson University, playing on the men's soccer team from 1993 to 1996. He was a 1996 Third Team All American. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in business management.

Career

On February 1, 1997, D.C. United selected Care in the first round (eleventh overall) of the 1997 MLS College Draft. On February 6, 1997, the Richmond Kickers selected Care in the second round of the USISL A-League draft. Care did not join D.C. for its pre-season training camp in order to complete his degree. Therefore, he then signed with the Carolina Dynamo on May 1, 1997. In February 1998, United drafted Care for a second time when they took him in the first round (ninth overall) of the 1998 MLS Supplemental Draft. D.C. sent Care on loan to the Richmond Kickers, Hampton Roads Mariners and Project 40 during the season. He saw time in only one first team game before being waived on November 2, 1998. However, he was on the bench for United when they defeated Vasco da Gama in the 1998 Copa Interamericana. In March 1999, Care signed with the Richmond Kickers but was sent to the Jacksonville Cyclones early in the season. In May 2000, he signed with the Atlanta Silverbacks. He spent two seasons with the Silverbacks before being released in February 2002.

Danny Swain, better known by his mononymous stage name Danny! (/ˈdæniˈ/ dan-EE), is an American recording artist and record producer.

Danny! is a former student of the Savannah College of Art & Design; he often wears a wool necktie and an Australian rounded crown boss-of-the-plains hat, and has gained notoriety for prank-calling celebrities. Danny! rose to prominence shortly following the proclamation by The Roots drummer Questlove that there was strong interest from JAY Z; he was subsequently signed as the flagship artist to Questlove's re-launched Okayplayer Records after years of being loosely affiliated with the company. In support of the new venture Danny! made his television debut on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, premiering his song "Evil" alongside The Roots.

Danny! would field praise for his concept records Charm and And I Love H.E.R., the latter named by ABC News as one of the best 50 albums released that year, before releasing the "anti-album" Where Is Danny?. After signing to Okayplayer Records in late 2012 Danny! completed his trilogy of conceptual albums with Payback, cited by Allmusic as one of the best hip-hop releases of the year. Ebony Magazine has listed Danny! among other rising artists in their "Leaders of the New School" piece, calling Danny! one of a handful of "innovators";GQ would later reiterate the same regarding Danny!'s music production. Currently Danny! is a songwriter/composer for Extreme Music, the production library music subsidiary of Sony/ATV Music Publishing.

Danny is an American television sitcom that aired on CBS. The series was created, executive produced and starred Daniel Stern.

It was one of the last comedies to aired to air on CBS's Friday night lineup airing along with The Ellen Show which premiered at the same time. The series premiered on September 28, 2001 and was canceled on October 5, 2001 after only two episodes aired, making it the first series to be canceled in the 2001 Fall TV season.

Premise

Danny is recently separated father struggling to raise his two teenage kids. Despite just turning 40, He still wants to pursue his lifelong dreams all while running the town's local community center.
