Dangerous (Natalie Cole album)

Dangerous is a 1985 album by American singer Natalie Cole released on September 28, 1985 through the Atco Records-distributed Modern Records. The album reached peak positions of number 140 on the Billboard 200 and number 48 on Billboard's R&B Albums chart.

Though the song "A Little Bit of Heaven" only reached number 81 on the Billboard Hot 100, it was used as a love theme for Eden Capwell and Cruz Castillo on the television soap opera Santa Barbara.

Dangerous (Cascada song)

"Dangerous" is the second single in the UK & Ireland but third overall to be released by Cascada from their third studio album Evacuate the Dancefloor. The music video was uploaded to YouTube by the UK record company All Around The World records on the August 17, 2009. The single was released in the United Kingdom on October 12, 2009.

The song "Dangerous" was performed on the 'National Lottery Euromillions Draw', broadcast on BBC One on 18 September 2009. It is composed in the key signature of E-flat minor and has a Tempo of 145 BPM.

Dangerous was a song released in 1985 on the highly successful album Lovin' Every Minute of It released by Loverboy. The song achieved minor success when released as a single during the same year, and reached #65 on the billboard charts.

Screamin' Demon

The Screamin' Demon was a shuttle loop roller coaster at Kings Island in Mason, Ohio. Designed by Arrow Development, it opened in 1977 as one of the first looping roller coasters in the United States to run both forward and backward. After ten years of operation, the ride was moved to Camden Park.

History

Anton Schwarzkopf and Intamin AG co-developed the first shuttle loop design, which opened as King Kobra at Kings Dominion in 1977. A total of six shuttle loop roller coasters opened that same year throughout the United States. Screamin' Demon had the distinction of being the first from Arrow Development to open to the public. Unlike the vertical tracks used as reverse points at both ends on the King Kobra, Arrow used loading platforms instead.

At the end of the 1987 season, the ride was sold and relocated to Camden Park in West Virginia where it was renamed to Thunderbolt Express. It was closed in 2000 and never reopened. It was eventually scrapped in 2004.

Demon (Star Trek: Voyager)

"Demon" is the 92nd episode of Star Trek: Voyager, the 24th episode of the fourth season.

Plot

With their deuterium supplies dwindling, Captain Janeway orders the crew of Voyager to reduce power consumption to minimal levels, traveling at impulse power and confining the crew to a few decks. The crew detects signs of deuterium on a nearby planet, but it is quickly identified as a "demon"-class planet, hostile to living creatures due to its high surface temperature and toxic atmosphere. With no way to remotely extract the deuterium due to communication interference from the atmosphere, Harry Kim volunteers himself and Tom Paris to take a shuttlecraft to the surface using modified shield technology and extract the essential materials themselves. As they track down the deuterium deposits on the surface, they discover a metallic-like liquid that maintains a cool temperature despite the atmosphere. Soon their environmental suits fail, and they collapse.

When Paris and Kim fail to return to Voyager after some time, Janeway orders the ship to land on the surface to send out teams to find them. Chakotay and Seven discover the two alive, but out of the suits and apparently able to withstand the harsh conditions. With a supply of deuterium to continue their journey home, they return to Voyager but Kim and Paris start to suffocate once aboard until the Doctor can contain a supply of the planet's atmosphere. The Doctor discovers both men have a large quantity of the metallic liquid in their blood, and explains that because the planet's atmosphere is impossible to recreate, should Voyager leave, they would have to leave the two behind. Soon, a pool of the liquid forms beneath the ship, and before they can lift off, the ship is partially sunk, trapping them. Torres discovers the liquid has the ability to take on the form of organic material.

Demon (video game)

Demon is a monochrome vector arcade game from Rock-Ola that was created in 1982. The premise was that the player must fly his space shuttle around the screen collecting the crystals to keep the ship's laser powered.
