Dalek I Love You
Dalek I Love You were a synthpop group from Liverpool. At various points in their existence the band was also known as Dalek I. Record executives at Phonogram shortened the band's name without telling them for the "Freedom Fighters" single.
History
Roots: Mr. McKenzie and Radio Blank
By the mid-1970s, Alan Gill, Keith Hartley and David Balfe, three residents in Thingwall on the Wirral Peninsula, had formed a band called Mr. McKenzie. In November 1976, as punk was emerging and influencing them, the group changed their name to Radio Blank, composed of Alan Gill on guitar and vocals, Keith Hartley on lead vocals and guitar, David Balfe on bass and Keyboards, and Stephen Brick on drums.
They played their own material and also some covers, such as "You Really Got Me" and "Peaches". Five of their 15 live gigs were at Eric's Club, in Liverpool. But Gill and Balfe, who became disinterested with punk during 1977, dissolved the band in October 1977 to form a more experimental project.

Dalek I Love You (radio)
Dalek I Love You was a radio drama broadcast on the British digital radio station BBC 7. The half-hour-long play premiered on 11 February 2006. It was written by Colin Sharpe and directed by Carrie Rooney.
The play follows Nigel English (David Raynor), a Doctor Who-obsessed young man who meets a strange woman named Isabella (Fiona Clarke) at a science fiction convention, and brings her home to meet his mother (Charlie Hardwick).
The title is taken from the 1970s synthpop group Dalek I Love You, which itself is named in part after Doctor Who's Daleks.
On 22 March 2008, a sequel, Dalek, I Love You Too was broadcast on BBC 7.
CD release
The story was released on audio CD on 4 September 2006, as part of a compilation of Doctor Who-inspired audio dramas entitled Doctor Who at the BBC: The Plays.

I Love You (A Dedication to My Fans) is the fourth mixtape by American rapper Jadakiss. It was released on May 23, 2011. The mixtape features guest appearances from Emanny, Teyana Taylor, Styles P, Chynk Show, Fred The Godson Trae Tha Truth and Rick Ross.
Critical response
I Love You (A Dedication to My Fans) was met with generally favorable reviews from music critics. Alex Thornton at HipHopDX gave the mixtape three and a half stars, saying "No one is likely to confuse I Love You with a real album given its reused tracks and limited scope, but it’s still actually better than The Last Kiss in many respects. It’s certainly worth listening to and does manage to earn the “official mixtape” status it’s been granted by Def Jam. As usual, the date for Jada’s next actual album seems to be up in the air, but I Love You makes the wait a little easier." Adam Fleischer of XXL gave the mixtape an XL, saying "On I Love You (A Dedication to My Fans), the Yonkers emcee’s potent delivery is generally at home over a variety of sonic backdrops. The feel good “Lil Bruh” featuring Pharrell is an upbeat and refreshing take on giving advice to young’ns. Later, the street savvy “Lay Em Down,” features yet another outstanding Jada-Styles P back and forth—a treat for rap fans every time it goes down. On the flip side, there are some misses. The somber “In The Streets” is a bit cliché in its content and structure and epitomizes the drawback of Kiss’s decision to use R&B hooks on nearly every track on the project. In the end, though, I Love You (A Dedication to My Fans) reminds why Kiss has been able to enjoy such longevity in the game."
In and Out of Love (Cheri Dennis album)
In and Out of Love is the debut album of American R&B singer Cheri Dennis, issued by Bad Boy/Atlantic Records. It was exclusively released through the iTunes Store on November 13, 2007, with the physical album made available on February 26, 2008. In and Out of Love debuted at #74 on the Billboard 200, but never climbed higher.
"Portrait of Love", the second of three singles released, reached #55 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. It was originally entitled "Portrait" and featured only Yung Joc, but after the single was leaked the title was changed and Gorilla Zoe was added to the song. the first single "I Love You", and the third single "Pretend" featuring Maino never charted.

BLACKsummers'night
BLACKsummers'night is the fourth studio album by American recording artist Maxwell, released July 7, 2009 on Columbia Records. It is the follow-up to his third album Now (2001). Recording sessions for the album took place during 2007 to 2009 and production was handled entirely by Maxwell and Hod David.
The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling 316,000 copies in its first week. It became Maxwell's fourth consecutive US platinum album and produced four singles that achieved Billboard chart success. Upon its release, the album received acclaim from most music critics and earned Maxwell two Grammy Awards at the 52nd Grammy Awards. It has sold over one million copies in the United States.
Background
Recording sessions for the album took place during 2007 to 2009 at Chung King Studios, Bowery Digital, and Platinum Sound Recording Studios in New York City. The album was produced entirely by Maxwell and musician Hod David.BLACKsummers'night is Maxwell's first album since his hiatus after his third album, Now (2001), and serves as the first part of his scheduled trilogy of albums.
