Dais
A dais (/ˈdeɪ.əs/ or /ˈdaɪ.əs/) is any raised platform located either inside or outside a room or enclosure, often for dignified occupancy, as at the front of a lecture hall or sanctuary. At military parades, the dais is the raised, sometimes covered, platform from where the troops are reviewed, addresses made and salutes taken.
Historically, the dais was a part of the floor at the end of a medieval hall, raised a step above the rest of the room. On this the lord of the manor dined with his intimates at the high table, apart from the followers and servants. In medieval halls there was generally a deep recessed bay window at one or at each end of the dais, supposed to be for retirement or greater privacy than the open hall could afford.
In life drawing rooms of art schools, the platform where the model poses for the students is sometimes referred to as the dais.
Etymology
The word dais was first used in the thirteenth century. The word comes from the Anglo-French deis, meaning "table" or "platform", from the Greek δίσκος dískos, meaning "disk" or "dish".

Ryo Sanada

Ryo Sanada is the unofficial leader of the Ronin Warriors. He wears the red Armor of Wildfire (烈火 Rekka), which represents the element of fire and the guiding virtue Jin (仁 Jin, lit. benevolence and dubbed as Virtue). He later acquires the white Armor of Inferno (白い輝煌帝 Shiroi Kikotei, lit. White Sun Emperor). He is often seen with his white tiger, White Blaze. He is brash and impulsive, but has a good heart.
Ryo first appears with White Blaze just as Talpa's invasion begins. The two fight a Dynasty Soldier alone and are almost killed until Rowen appears with the others. Although Ryo defeats the Soldier with their help, he is reluctant to accept them. He agrees to help Mia and Ully find the Warriors after Talpa separates them. Ryo unlocks the Armor of Inferno when he and the Warriors are captured and absorbed by Talpa. He equips the armor by gathering the energies and guiding virtues of four of the other armors.
Daiso
Daiso or The Daisō (ザ・ダイソー) is a large franchise of 100-yen shops in Japan, owned by Daiso Sangyo Corp. (株式会社大創産業 kabushiki gaisha daisō sangyō). Its headquarters are in Higashihiroshima, Hiroshima Prefecture.
Daiso has a range of over 100,000 goods, of which over 40 percent are imported goods, many of them from China. Many of these are house-brand goods.
History
Daiso was originally opened first as a street vending shop dealing with 100-yen products known as “Yano Shoten" by Hirotake Yano in 1972. He later founded Daiso in 1977.
Business method
Daiso often uses such locations as previous pachinko parlours for its retail outlets. They spend a lot of money on shelving and fixtures to help the stores compete with more high-end retailers. The stock of items retailed at each shop is varied frequently in order to increase repeat customers.
Daiso categorizes all its own-brand items on sale using the morpheme za (ザ), the Japanese representation of the English word "the", plus a category. For example, za hanabi (ザ・花火) is the category for fireworks, and za purasuchikku (ザ・プラスチック) is the category for plastic items such as plastic buckets or trays.
