DSST may refer to:
DSST (formerly DANTES Subject Standardized Tests) are credit-by-examination tests originated by the United States Department of Defense's Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES) program. The program is an extensive series of 38 examinations in college subject areas that are comparable to the final or end-of-course examinations in undergraduate college courses. These tests are frequently used in conjunction with CLEP (College Level Examination Program) tests by students pursuing college degrees in non-traditional formats. Whereas CLEP tests are almost exclusively used for lower level credit at regionally accredited institutions, DSST's are available for both upper and lower level credit.
Prometric administers Internet-based versions of DSSTs under contract with the Defense Department (for military personnel) or on a fee basis (for civilians).

Denver School of Science and Technology or DSST is a public, charter, STEM institution comprising twelve schools on seven campuses in Denver, Colorado in parternship with Denver Public Schools. DSST is among the top sixty charter schools in the United States.
Metropolitan area students are selected for admission entirely by lottery. As students follow a science, mathematics, and technology focused liberal arts education, more than half of graduates declare a STEM major in college. Minority students comprise 72 percent of the student body and 45 percent qualify for free or reduced lunch. All DSST students follow a prospectus that includes seven years of natural sciences, seven years of mathematics, three years of Spanish, a trimester internship, and a two-trimester senior project. By 2025 DSST is slated to consist of twenty-two schools on eleven campuses—eighteen schools focused on STEM, four focused on the humanities—enrolling 10,500 or a quarter of Denver’s secondary school students.
