DOS Plus (erroneously also known as DOS+) is an operating system written by Digital Research, first released in 1985. It can be seen as an intermediate step between CP/M-86 and DR-DOS.
It is able to run programs written for either CP/M-86 or MS-DOS 2.11, and can read and write the floppy formats used by both these systems. Up to four CP/M-86 programs can be multitasked, but only one DOS program can be run at a time.
DOS Plus attempts to present the same command-line interface as MS-DOS. Like MS-DOS, it has a command-line interpreter called COMMAND.COM
(alternative name DOSPLUS.COM
). There is an AUTOEXEC.BAT
file, but no CONFIG.SYS
(except for FIDDLOAD, an extension to load some field-installable device drivers in some versions of DOS Plus 2.1). The major difference the user will notice is that the bottom line of the screen contains status information similar to:
The left-hand side of the status bar shows running processes. The leftmost one will be visible on the screen; the others (if any) are running in the background. The right-hand side shows the keyboard layout in use (UK8 in the above example), the printer port assignment, the keyboard caps lock and num lock status, and the current time. If a DOS program is running, the status line is not shown. DOS programs cannot be run in the background.
DOS is a family of operating systems for x86-based computers, most commonly IBM PC-compatibles.

Dos (English: Two) is the title of the second album by Colombian Pop and Vallenato singer, Fanny Lu. The album was released in Colombia on December 8, 2008, and in the United States and Puerto Rico the following week. In Colombia, Dos went straight to number one in the album charts in its debut week. The album features the lead single and the official song of the year in Colombia, "Tú No Eres Para Mi" (You Are Not For Me).
The album was greeted with huge anticipation following the success of the lead single "Tú No Eres Para Mi". The hit was number one on Colombian radio for eleven weeks. As well as this, there were high expectations considering the success of Fanny's first album, Lágrimas Cálidas (English: "Warm Tears"), which spent nine weeks at number one in Colombia. Fanny Lu produced the album and co-wrote many of the tracks, most notably "Un Minuto Más" (English: "One More Minute"), a duet with Noel Schajris. The song is a tribute to her late father who was murdered. Weeks before the release of the album, Fanny stated that "We were looking for a fusion of sounds. I didn't limit myself. I gave myself the luxury of exploring, because it was important not to repeat what I'd done. For example, many times, instead of accordions, we experimented with winds. This album is like a walk along all those genres I love, and all the songs have their own palate and color."
Dos (Two), also known as Myriam Hernández 2, is the title of the second studio album released by Chilean singer Myriam Hernández on November 23, 1989. The album became very successful in Latin America and the United States where it peaked at number-one in the Billboard Latin Pop Albums chart. The album includes two number-one singles by Hernández, "Te Pareces Tanto a Él" and "Peligroso Amor", and her self-penned top ten hit "Herida".Dos was nominated for Pop Album of the Year at the Lo Nuestro Awards.
Dos was produced by Humberto Gatica and features songs written by Gogo Muñoz, Alberto Plaza, Vilma Planas, Alvaro Torres, Juan Carlos Duque and by the performer herself. Hernández wrote the songs "Herida" and "Que No". The album singles produced several international hits that spent several weeks at number one of the rankings in the continent. This album also marked a record in the Latin Pop Albums in the United States by staying at number-one for 18 consecutive weeks.
Plus (stylised as +Plus) is a Japanese pop boy band formed in December 2009 that has been signed to the label, Pony Canyon. The group combines in its pop tunes elements of genres such as hip hop, reggae, and R&B.
They released their debut album Canvas in 2010. They are well known for singing the opening and ending themes for popular anime such as Fairy Tail and Reborn! (aka Hitman Reborn) .
Plus was a German-based international supermarket chain founded in 1972. It operated 2,840 stores in Germany with an approximate 27,000 employees and about 1,200 stores in several other European countries. The retail model was to sell low-cost groceries with no expense incurred for display or marketing of products. Groceries were stored in the shipping cartons they came in, rather than being stacked on shelves. In German advertising, the name "Plus" was used as a backronym for "Prima leben und sparen" (approximately "top-notch living and saving"), featuring animated "little prices" (also sold as plush puppets) as their mascot.
The Edeka Group and the Tengelmann Group entered a joint venture to acquire the Plus supermarket chain on November 16, 2007, which resulted in 70% of Plus supermarkets being owned by the Edeka Group and 30% owned by the Tengelmann Group.
As of January 2009, the stores in the Plus supermarket chain owned by the Edeka group were remodelled into Netto Marken-Discount supermarket chain branches, while the Tengelmann Group's supermarkets were bought by Lidl, Spar, Carrefour, etc.

Our colony
Is shining through the shaking of the artificial moon
The light of noon
Cut ragged glass
Kalidoscope of soapy film refract the rays that pass
The blades of grass
Recite the words that you were taught
The face of man
You stare into the center as the colors bleed away
The dryest rain
You feel the same
The dirt beneath your saddle boots is snaping as you
step
Into the scene
This life is just a pale frame
Don't you ever worry bout those dizzy spells you feel
That's just the taming of the ghosts
They can't hurt you, they'll desert you now
Take up your arms
The final day is here, you feel the pinging in your ear
Now disappear
The flaming sky
The rally of a lost July, the night preceds the
lullabye
