DJ Static is the name used by a number of DJs around the world.
Thorbjørn Schwarz better known by his stage name DJ Static or just Static is a famous Danish DJ and producer and event organizer. He is co-founder, in partnership with Rasmus Lauridsen, of City Hall Music,a Danish record label. In 2012, he released his debut album Rolig under pres that reached the top of the Danish Albums Chart in its initial week of release.
A prolific producer of records and mixtapes for many artists. He was a triple Danish national champion for mixing and has won the pan-European DMC - World DJ Championships. He was also named Best Urban DJ for 5 consecutive years from 2004 to 2008 during the Danish DeeJay Awards.
He was the host for 10 years of the popular MC's Fight Night before ceding the responsibility to DJ Noize. Other events that he plays active role in Hele Vejen (in cooperation with Bang Bang Club and Christian Dyhr), organizing events in many locations including "Blauw Blauw" on Vestergade 58, Aarhus.
DJ Static often performs with Negash Ali, Per Vers, Jøden, Majors and has formed duos most notably as "Static and Nat III" and "Static & Temu".
DJ Static (born Michael Lai in 1977) is a well-known Canadian DJ and radio personality.
He arrived in 1988 from Hong Kong settling first in Vancouver, Canada then in Montreal. He credits hip hop music with helping him learn English and started DJing in 1994.
In 1996, in collaboration with fellow Canadian DJ Professor Groove, he launched the award-winning WeFunk weekly radio show on Montreal's CKUT 90.3, McGill University's radio station.
Since 1999, the show is also available online through WEFUNK Radio. Both DJs play a symbiotic mix of Funk, Soul, R&B and Rap, both old and new. The name of the radio show comes from the Parliament song "P. Funk (Wants To Get Funked Up)", in which WEFUNK is a fictional radio station broadcasting "directly from the Mothership, top of the Chocolate Milky Way, 500,000 kilowatts of P Funk-power." The Internet radio stream in 1999, becoming one of the oldest continuously operating radio streams on the Internet, as well as one of the longest-running online radio shows.
The first Sabre was a former knife thrower named Paul Richarde until he was selected by Modred to oppose Black Knight. Paul Richarde was given an armor, an animated gargoyle. and Mordred's Ebony Dagger (the weapon with which Mordred had killed the first Black Knight). He was defeated by Black Knight after his horse Aragorn kicked the dagger from Le Sabre's hand.
The second Sabre is a mutant super villain. His first appearance was in X-Men #106. Young and reckless, Sabre was chosen by Mystique to join her new Brotherhood of Mutants, though never actually participated in any missions. He had the mutant ability of super speed, and took the name of the deceased Super Sabre. It is unknown if he continues to serve Mystique behind the scenes, or if he even retains his powers after Decimation. Hyper-accelerated metabolism augments his natural speed, reflexes, coordination, endurance, and the healing properties of his body.

Static is an unincorporated community in Clinton County, Kentucky, and Pickett County, Tennessee, in the southeastern United States. It is located on the Tennessee–Kentucky state line south of Albany, Kentucky, northwest of Jamestown, Tennessee and north of Byrdstown, Tennessee.
Static has been noted for its unusual place name.
Static is located at a crossroads intersection involving U.S. Route 127 (US 127), Tennessee State Route 111 (TN 111) (formerly Tennessee State Route 42), and Kentucky Route 1076. Its coordinates are 36°37′19″N latitude, and 85°5′6″W longitude. Using US 127, Jamestown, Tennessee, is 21 miles (33.8 km) southeast, and Albany, Kentucky, is six miles north. Byrdstown, Tennessee, however, is 6 miles (9.65 km) southwest via TN 111.
The town is located due east of the Dale Hollow Lake area.
In terms of public schools, the Kentucky side of the Static area attends Clinton County Schools based in Albany, while students on the Tennessee side attend the small Pickett County Public Schools system.
