DAvE (Infineon)

DAVE (Infineon) Digital Application Virtual Engineer (DAVE™), a C/C++-language software development and code generation tool for microcontroller applications. DAvE is a standalone system with automatic code generation modules and is suited to develop software drivers for Infineon microcontrollers and aids the developer with automatically created C-level templates and user desired functionalities.

Latest releases of DAVE include all required parts to develop code, compile and debug on the target for free (based on the ARM gcc toolsuite). Together with several low-cost development boards one can get involved in microcontroller design very easy. This makes Infineon micocontroller products also more usable to small companies and to home-use / DIY projects - similar to established products of Atmel (AVR, SAM) and Microchip (PIC, PIC32) to name a few. DAVE was developed by Infineon Technologies. Therefore, the automatic code generator supports only Infineon microcontrollers. The user also has to get used to the concept of the Eclipse IDE. The generated code can be also used on other (often non free) development environments from Keil, Tasking and so on.

Yin Yang Yo!

Yin Yang Yo! is an American/Canadian flash animated television series created by Bob Boyle II (also the creator of Nick Jr. original series Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!) and produced by Jetix Animation Concepts. It is the third Jetix-original show. It premiered on September 4, 2006 on Jetix in the United States with a sneak peek airing on August 26, 2006. The show debuted on Jetix in the United Kingdom on February 5, 2007 after a sneak peek preview on January 27, 2007 while making its Canadian television premiere on Family Channel on March 25, 2007. The series is supplied with writers and animators' staff associated with Fairly OddParents, 6teen, Clone High and Danny Phantom. Head writer Steve Marmel, an anime fan, took an inspiration from various anime and anime-influenced shows such as Teen Titans and FLCL. stars two anthropomorphic rabbits named Yin and Yang, and their sensei-like panda figure named Yo, a master of fictional mystical martial arts called Woo Foo.

In 2007, the show was nominated for British Academy Children's Award by the BAFTA in the International category, but lost to Stephen Hillenburg's SpongeBob SquarePants. From its launch in June 1, 2011 to late 2012, Disney XD Canada aired re-runs of the series.

Dave (TV channel)

Dave is a television channel owned by UKTV, which is available in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The channel is available on cable, IPTV, Freeview and some satellite platforms. The channel took the name Dave in October 2007, but it had been on air under various identities and formats since October 1998.

History

UK Gold Classics and UK Gold 2

UK Gold Classics, UKTV's first digital-only channel, was launched on 2 October 1998 and was only broadcast from Friday to Sunday on Sky Digital from 6pm to 2am. Around this time UK Gold began to move towards newer programmes instead of older ones; the 'classics' line-up included a number of early shows, including some black-and-white programmes, which had been acquired in the early years of the UK Gold service. They also showed some recent shows from the main channel, but the main part of the channel was older shows from the early years of UK Gold. On weekdays, the channel was off air, showing a still caption of all the UKTV channels and start-up times.

The North Carolina Education Lottery 200 is a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race held in mid-May at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina. The race is currently held as a companion event to the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race in mid May.
